How does this YDO carburetor improve engine starting and idling?

By restoring the correct fuel-to-air mixture and steady float operation, the carburetor helps the engine start more consistently and hold a stable idle. Precision-machined passages and a properly seated float bowl reduce flooding and fuel starvation under load transitions.

• Restores consistent choke and throttle response for easier cold starts
• Stabilizes idle speed to prevent stalling during light loads
• Minimizes fuel leaks and vapor lock by using solid gaskets and fittings

Are quality and fit guaranteed compared to the original part?

YDO designs this carburetor to meet OEM-style specifications so it installs and performs like the original unit. While it is not an OEM-manufactured part, manufacturing tolerances and materials are selected to deliver equivalent performance and durability for typical generator use.

• Manufactured to match OEM mounting, throttle and choke linkages
• Constructed from corrosion-resistant materials for extended service life
• Backed by a 6-month quality warranty and 30-day return policy

What should I check before replacing my carburetor?

Confirm engine model and part number compatibility, inspect fuel lines and the air filter, and ensure you have basic hand tools for removal and installation. Cleaning the fuel tank and replacing cracked hoses before fitting the new carburetor helps prevent contamination and repeat failures.

• Match OEM numbers and engine model (see product listing for compatible models)
• Drain or clean old fuel and replace brittle fuel lines if present
• Have gaskets and basic hand tools ready for a straightforward swap
