YIYANTO Air Filter Box Housing 0G8442C111 — Direct-Fit Replacement for Generac GP Series, Durable Thermoplastic

The YIYANTO 0G8442C111 air filter box housing is a direct-fit replacement housing that secures and protects the air filter for a wide range of Generac and compatible portable generators.

This replacement air cleaner housing is built to restore proper air intake protection for generators that use the 0G8442C111-style enclosure. It houses the air filter element, shields the inlet from dust and moisture, and mounts in the original location so engines can run with cleaner, more consistent airflow. The unit is molded from durable material to handle outdoor use and vibration typical of portable generator operation.

Which generator models will this housing fit?

The YIYANTO 0G8442C111 housing is engineered for several Generac portable generator models plus a number of WEN models. It matches the mounting points and dimensions of original housings used across these lines to provide a straightforward swap.

• Fits Generac: GP5000, GP5500, GP6500, GP6500E, GP7500E, GP8000E, GP9200E, XT8000E, RS8000E
• Compatible with WEN: DF472, DF472X, DF475T (4750W) and select 56475/6000W models
• Direct-fit design reduces need for modification

How does the housing protect the generator’s engine?

This housing forms a sealed chamber around the air filter element to block debris and moisture while maintaining airflow. By keeping contaminants away from the carburetor and intake, it helps preserve engine components and performance under typical jobsite and outdoor conditions.

• Encloses filter to reduce ingested dust and grit
• Shields against incidental moisture and splash during operation
• Sturdy construction resists vibration and impacts

Is installation difficult and what hardware is included?

Installation is intended to be user-friendly and mirrors factory procedures for air box replacement. The housing aligns with original mounting points and secures with the same screws or clips used on the generator, letting you reinstall quickly with basic hand tools.

• Designed for bolt-on replacement using existing fasteners
• No special tools required — common screwdrivers and wrenches suffice
• Instructions: align, fasten at mounting points, verify seal around filter

What is the housing made from and how long should it last?

The YIYANTO housing is manufactured from a durable thermoplastic engineered for outdoor equipment. It resists cracking and deformation from engine heat and vibration, offering a dependable service life comparable to OEM housings when used under normal conditions.

• Robust plastic resists impacts and UV exposure
• Designed to tolerate engine bay temperatures and vibration
• Regular inspection and proper filter maintenance extend service life

Who is this for: This replacement air filter box housing is intended for owners, repair technicians, and maintenance professionals working on compatible Generac and WEN portable generators. It’s a practical choice if the original housing is cracked, warped, missing, or letting debris bypass the filter.
