Yutrax Universal ATV Backrest TX219 — 2-inch Cushion, Foldable Heavy-Duty Steel Frame

The YUTRAX Universal Mount ATV Backrest (TX219) is a heavy-duty, foldable back support that bolts to most metal or composite ATV cargo racks and delivers adjustable comfort with a 2" thick pad.

Long rides over rough terrain can fatigue your lower back and reduce control. The YUTRAX Universal Mount ATV Backrest is built to add lumbar support and rider stability without permanent modification to your vehicle. Its powder-coated steel frame resists corrosion, the cushion is thick for sustained comfort, and the whole assembly folds flat when you need an unobstructed rack. Included mounting hardware fits most standard cargo racks so you can attach it quickly and remove or fold it away when not in use.

How does the backrest attach to my ATV and how simple is installation?

Installation is designed for riders who want a secure mount without fabricating parts. The backrest comes with universal hardware that fastens to most metal or composite cargo racks and requires only basic hand tools. Assembly can be completed in minutes and the design keeps the backrest stable under typical trail loads.

• Includes universal mounting bolts and clamps for common rack styles
• Powder-coated steel frame aligns to rack tubing for a tight fit
• Simple bolt-on assembly — no welding or drilling on most ATVs
• Quick-release style folding lets you fold the backrest flat for trail riding

What comfort features does the TX219 provide on long rides?

The YUTRAX backrest prioritizes rider comfort with a 2" thick foam cushion and three reclining positions so you can tune support for different terrain and riding posture. A storage pocket on the rear of the pad keeps small essentials close at hand. The cushion material balances firmness and give so it supports without bottoming out during extended use.

• 2" thick foam pad for sustained lumbar support
• Three adjustable reclining positions to personalize comfort
• Rear storage pocket for tools, gloves, or small items
• Padded cover resists dirt and is easy to wipe clean

Will the backrest withstand outdoor use and rough trails?

The TX219 uses a heavy-duty powder-coated steel frame to resist rust and stand up to vibration and impact common in off-road riding. Moving parts and mounting hardware are built for repeated use so the backrest remains dependable season after season. Folding functionality reduces exposure when you don’t need the back pad, further protecting the unit in transit.

• Powder-coated steel frame for corrosion resistance
• Robust hardware and secure mounting clamps minimize movement
• Fold-down design protects the pad and frame during trail use
• Durable construction tolerates regular off-road stresses

Can I adjust or remove the backrest quickly when I need the full rack?

The YUTRAX backrest folds flat and detaches with basic tools, giving you flexibility to switch between passenger comfort and full cargo capacity. Clicking the backrest into its folded position keeps it out of the way without removing it, while the included hardware allows relatively fast removal whenever you need unobstructed rack space.

• Folds flat for unobstructed cargo use or trail clearance
• Quick to remove with standard hand tools if full rack access is required
• Low-profile folded position reduces snagging and wind resistance
• Mounting design preserves rack integrity — no permanent alterations for most setups

Who is this for? The YUTRAX Universal Mount ATV Backrest TX219 is ideal for recreational riders, hunters, and utility users who carry passengers or want extra lumbar support on extended rides. It suits owners of many ATV makes who prefer a bolt-on solution that balances durability, adjustable comfort, and the option to fold away when hauling gear or tackling tight trails.
