ZJTBLL Onan RV QG Generator Tune-Up Kit for 5500/7000 — Oil, Air, Fuel Filters + Spark Plugs, Wrench

ZJTBLL's tune up kit is a complete maintenance set for Onan RV QG 5500 and 7000 generators, supplying oil, air, fuel filters, spark plugs and tools needed for a full service.

Keep your Onan Marquis QG generator running reliably with this all-in-one maintenance bundle. Designed for HGJAA, HGJAB and HGJAC models (also compatible with Marquis Platinum QG EFI and Marquis Gold/RV QG), the kit assembles OEM-equivalent parts to replace worn consumables at scheduled service intervals or when performance degrades.

How will this kit improve generator performance?

Replacing filters and spark plugs restores airflow, fuel delivery and spark efficiency so the generator runs cleaner and more smoothly. Fresh filter media traps contaminants before they damage internal components, while new plugs ensure consistent ignition.

• High-grade 122-0836 oil filter media removes carbon, sand and metal debris.
• 140-3116 air filter keeps dust and particulates out of the intake.
• 149-2341-01 fuel filter protects the fuel system from contaminants.
• Two 167-1638 spark plugs renew ignition reliability.

What exactly is included in the tune up kit?

The kit bundles every common consumable and a few handy tools so you can complete a standard service without separate purchases. Parts are matched to Onan part numbers and common cross-references for easy identification.

• 1x Fuel filter (149-2341, 149-2341-01)
• 1x Oil filter (122-0836, includes oil filter wrench 420-0577)
• 1x Air filter (140-3116)
• 2x Spark plugs (167-1638) and 1x 627-0560 gap tool
• 4x hose clamps for fuel/intake connections

When should I replace these parts on my generator?

Replace the kit components at scheduled maintenance intervals or sooner if you notice symptoms like hard starting, reduced power, or unusual noises. Using fresh filters and plugs helps avoid wear and keeps fuel and oil systems clean.

• Change at recommended service intervals in your generator manual.
• Replace sooner if you observe hard starts or loss of output.
• Swap filters after heavy-duty use in dusty or coastal environments.

How easy is installation for someone with basic mechanical experience?

The kit is aimed at DIY-capable owners and professional technicians alike. Most items are user-replaceable with basic hand tools; the included oil filter wrench and gap tool simplify common steps.

• Simple bolt-on/unscrew replacements for filters and plugs.
• Oil filter wrench fits the included 122-0836 filter for safe removal.
• Gap tool lets you check and set spark plug gaps quickly.

Who is this for? RV owners, fleet managers and mobile technicians who operate or service Onan Marquis QG 5500 and 7000 generators will benefit most. If you maintain HGJAA, HGJAB or HGJAC models—or run Marquis Platinum QG EFI or Marquis Gold/RV QG units—this kit supplies the essential consumables to complete routine tune-ups and help maintain reliable generator operation on the road or at the campsite.
