3M PPS 2.0 Spray Gun Cup Kit — 28 oz Large Cup with 50 Lids & Liners, 125µm Filter

The 3M PPS 2.0 Spray Gun Cup Lids and Liners Kit (26325) is designed to simplify measuring, mixing, filtering and spray-paint application by combining those steps into a single disposable lid-and-liner assembly. This large 28-ounce kit helps reduce paint waste and contamination because each mix uses a fresh liner and filter, while improved lids and adapters create a secure, low-drip connection to most spray guns.

How does the PPS 2.0 kit speed up prep and cleanup?

The kit replaces repeated filtering and decanting with one sealed lid-and-liner for each mix. After spraying you remove and discard the used liner and lid, leaving the reusable cup clean and ready for the next job.

• 50 disposable liners that eliminate rinsing between color changes
• 50 lids with integrated 125-micron filter for quick one-step straining
• Quarter-turn locking collar reduces cross-threading and speeds attachment
• 32 sealing plugs let you store partial mixes without waste

Will this kit work with my spray gun?

3M includes stainless-steel adapters engineered for broad compatibility, so you can use the PPS 2.0 system with most conventional gravity- and siphon-fed spray guns. The redesigned adapter and wider fluid spout improve stability and reduce leaks at the lid-to-gun connection.

• Stainless-steel adapters for secure mounting to many gun types
• Redesigned adapter geometry for a steadier lid fit
• Wider fluid spout to maintain consistent flow and reduce clogging
• Quarter-turn collar locks lids in place quickly and reliably

What kinds of coatings can I use with this 28-ounce kit?

The PPS 2.0 kit is compatible with a wide range of materials used in automotive, industrial and DIY applications. Its 125-micron built-in filter is commonly used for waterborne coatings, but the kit supports many solvent-based and water-based products when used per manufacturer guidelines.

• Paints, basecoats, clearcoats and primers
• Stains, varnishes, sealers and gelcoats
• Sprayable adhesives and specialty coatings
• Suitable for waterborne coatings with included fine mesh filter

How does the large 28 oz size impact project workflow?

The 28-ounce capacity provides enough volume for larger panels, multi-step jobs, or extended spraying without constant refills. It’s a balance between portability and runtime, reducing interruptions while still enabling easy color changes between liners.

• Large volume for longer continuous spraying sessions
• Fewer liner changes compared to smaller cup sizes
• Reusable cup reduces long-term consumable cost
• Disposable lids and liners limit cross-contamination risks

Who is this for: Professionals and serious DIYers who need a dependable, time-saving spray cup system for automotive, marine, furniture, cabinetry, and general industrial coating work. The 3M PPS 2.0 28 oz kit suits users who want less waste, faster color changes, and a cleaner workflow without modifying their spray gun setup.
