3mirrors Aluminum Oil Filter Cap Wrench Set for Toyota Lexus Scion — 2pc 64mm, 4- & 6-Tooth Durable Fit

3mirrors 2-piece aluminum oil filter cap wrench set removes and installs 64mm cartridge-style oil filter housings on Toyota, Lexus, Scion and many compatible vehicles quickly and without damaging the plastic cap.

This pair of precision-machined, thick-wall aluminum cap wrenches includes a 4-tooth large and a 6-tooth small tool designed for 64 mm cartridge oil filter systems. Made to replace flimsy tools that cam out or crack plastic filter housings, these two sizes cover common engine families so you can service oil filters at home or in a professional garage. The set is compatible with many Toyota, Lexus and Scion models — including RAV4, Camry, Tundra and Highlander — and fits engines with different displacement ranges thanks to the two distinct tooth patterns.

How do I know which wrench size fits my vehicle?

Check your vehicle’s engine displacement and the oil filter housing’s tooth pattern. The set contains a 4-tooth large wrench for medium to larger engines and a 6-tooth small wrench for smaller engines; photos or OEM specs will confirm the match.

• 4-tooth large wrench: intended for 2.5–5.7L engines (common on RAV4, Camry, Tundra).
• 6-tooth small wrench: intended for 1.0–2.5L engines (many compact and mid-size models).
• Compare the cap’s contact points to the wrench teeth to ensure proper seating.
• Refer to vehicle service manual or product photos for final confirmation.

Why choose these aluminum cap wrenches over plastic or thin steel options?

These wrenches are manufactured from thicker, high-quality aluminum alloy that resists bending and wear while remaining lightweight. Compared with thin stamped tools or plastic sockets, they provide better torque transfer and less risk of damaging the plastic filter housing.

• Thicker aluminum walls reduce deformation under load.
• Multiple tooth contacts distribute force to prevent slipping.
• Lightweight compared to steel while still offering high strength.
• Durable finish resists corrosion and garage wear.

How do I use the 3mirrors oil filter cap wrenches safely?

Fit the correct wrench fully over the oil filter cap so each tooth engages the housing, then apply steady torque using the appropriate socket or breaker bar. Avoid excessive force; the wrenches are designed to remove caps without over-tightening or cracking the plastic.

• Select the 4-tooth or 6-tooth wrench to match the cap.
• Attach a 3/8" or 1/2" drive socket or breaker bar to the wrench’s hex drive opening.
• Turn counterclockwise to loosen; use even pressure to avoid slipping.
• If cap is seized, apply penetrating lubricant and allow time before reattempting.

What vehicles and applications are these wrenches intended for?

The set targets vehicles equipped with 64 mm cartridge-style oil filters commonly found in many Toyota, Lexus and Scion models. It is suitable for DIY maintenance, quick oil changes in small shops, or as a backup in a professional tool kit.

• Common fits: Toyota RAV4, Camry, Tundra, Highlander and similar models.
• Also compatible with many Honda and Lexus models that use 64 mm cartridge filters.
• Useful for both home mechanics and professional technicians.
• Two sizes cover a wider range of engine displacements and cap styles.

Who this is for: This 3mirrors wrench set is for do-it-yourselfers and mechanics who want a robust, reusable solution for 64 mm cartridge oil filter caps. If you perform routine oil changes on Toyota, Lexus, Scion or similarly equipped vehicles and need reliable, non-damaging tools that replace weak plastic sockets or thin stamped wrenches, this aluminum two-piece set gives you the torque, fit and durability required for safe filter cap removal and installation. For fitment questions, compare your filter cap to the included tooth patterns or consult your vehicle manual.
