These two front lower ball joints are made as a matched pair for driver and passenger sides and are engineered to replace worn originals on a wide range of GM full-size trucks and SUVs. Each joint includes pre-greased fittings, rubber bushings to isolate noise and vibration, and hardware such as castle nuts and cotter pins for secure fastening. The parts are intended for steel control arm applications and are not compatible with aluminum steering knuckles.
They fit many Chevrolet and GMC full-size vehicles from the late 1990s through the mid-2010s when the factory setup uses steel control arms. Check your VIN and steering knuckle material before purchase to confirm compatibility.
New ball joints restore the articulation and alignment points between the wheel hub and suspension, which helps reduce play that causes loose steering and uneven tire wear. The integrated rubber bushings absorb shock and help lower road noise, while the greased fitting maintains lubrication for smoother operation.
The package includes all the small but crucial pieces needed to complete a safe installation: castle nuts and cotter pins hold the ball stud securely even if the nut loosens slightly over time. Pre-greasing and a zerk fitting make maintenance easier and extend service life compared with non-greaseable replacements.
Who this is for: This two-piece A-Premium set is aimed at owners and technicians servicing GM full-size trucks and SUVs that use steel control arms and need a straightforward, cost-effective front lower ball joint replacement. It suits DIY mechanics comfortable with front suspension work and professional shops performing steering and suspension repairs looking for a matched driver/passenger pair supplied with installation hardware.
Q: Are these ball joints compatible with aluminum steering knuckles?
A: No. These A-Premium joints are designed for steel control arms and are not compatible with aluminum steering knuckles.
Q: Do the joints come greased and include installation hardware?
A: Yes. They arrive pre-greased, include a grease fitting for future lubrication, and come with castle nuts and cotter pins.
