AggAuto Universal 40" x 13" Honeycomb Car Grill Mesh — Silver 6mm Spacing, 1mm Alloy

AggAuto's Universal 40" x 13" silver honeycomb car grill mesh is a durable aluminium-alloy barrier designed to protect radiator and engine openings while allowing airflow.

This universal grille sheet combines corrosion-resistant aluminium construction with a honeycomb pattern spaced at 6 mm and 1 mm thick strands, giving a balance of airflow, debris protection and simple DIY fitment. It’s cuttable and moldable to suit bumpers, body kits, hood vents and custom automotive openings, and its silver finish works with many vehicle styles. The mesh reduces the likelihood of stones, leaves and road debris from reaching sensitive cooling components, while remaining light and weatherproof for long-term use.

How does the honeycomb spacing protect my radiator without blocking airflow?

The 6 mm honeycomb openings are small enough to stop a range of road debris yet large enough to maintain effective airflow into the radiator and intercooler. The 1 mm strand thickness keeps the structure rigid under impact while minimizing obstruction to cooling flow.

• 6 mm hex openings prevent stones and larger particulates.
• 1 mm aluminium strands resist bending and maintain airflow channels.
• Open pattern preserves engine cooling and reduces clogging risk.

What materials and finishes are used, and how do they hold up outdoors?

The panel is made from aluminum alloy chosen for corrosion resistance, light weight and long-term durability. The silver finish reflects sunlight and resists weathering; it’s designed for continued outdoor exposure without quick degradation.

• Aluminium alloy resists rust and corrosion better than mild steel.
• Sun- and water-resistant surface minimizes fading and pitting.
• Low weight reduces stress on mounting points and panels.

How easy is it to cut, shape and install this grill mesh on my vehicle?

The sheet is engineered for DIY modification with common hand tools—snips, pliers and basic fasteners are typically sufficient. Its ductile alloy lets you bend and trim to match contours, and it can be mounted behind bezels or attached directly to bumpers and openings.

• Cuttable by metal shears or tin snips for custom fitment.
• Can be bent by hand or with pliers to follow curves and vents.
• Installs with screws, rivets, or adhesive-backed trim depending on application.

Where else can this mesh be used besides car grilles?

Beyond vehicle front ends, the flexible aluminum mesh is useful for home and workshop projects such as protective vents, intake covers, speaker grilles and decorative accents. Its moldability and corrosion resistance make it practical for many indoor and outdoor guard applications.

• Fits hood vents, bumper inserts, and body kit openings.
• Useful for household vent covers, tool chest vents, and DIY guards.
• Works well for custom fabrication and automotive restorations.
