AggAuto Car Grill Mesh 40" x 13" Black - Universal Aluminum 8x16mm Rhombic Vent Guard

AggAuto's Universal 40" x 13" car grill mesh is a black aluminium-alloy sheet with 8 x 16 mm rhombic perforations designed to protect your radiator and add a clean, finished look to bumpers, hood vents, and body kits.

Made from corrosion-resistant aluminium alloy, this universal grille mesh combines lightweight durability with weather resistance so it stands up to road debris, sun and moisture. The 40" x 13" size is easy to trim and shape with basic hand tools, while the rhombic 8 x 16 mm openings balance airflow with protection. It’s a no-fuss solution for DIY installs, custom builds, and aftermarket upgrades.

How does this mesh protect the radiator without restricting airflow?

The rhombic 8 x 16 mm pattern provides a wide open area for cooling air while blocking stones, leaves, and larger debris that can puncture the radiator or condenser. The aluminium alloy construction resists corrosion so the protective barrier stays intact over time.

• 8 x 16 mm rhombic holes: preserves airflow for cooling efficiency
• Solid aluminium alloy: prevents rust and withstands road conditions
• Uniform pattern: disperses impact and keeps particles out

Is the AggAuto grill mesh easy to cut and install for DIY projects?

Yes. The sheet trims cleanly with common hand tools and bends to match contours, making it suitable for custom bumper inserts, hood vents, and body kit work. Installation can be completed with rivets, screws, or adhesive depending on your mounting preference.

• Trim-to-fit: cuts with aviation snips, metal shears or a jigsaw
• Bendable: formed to tight curves without cracking the finish
• Mounting options: rivets, bolts, clips, or automotive adhesives

What environments and vehicles is this mesh suitable for?

The universal dimensions and flexible material work for a wide variety of cars, trucks and custom builds. It’s ideal for daily drivers exposed to road grit, weekend project cars, and show vehicles that need a tidy, functional grille solution.

• Universal fit: trim to suit most bumper openings and vents
• Weatherproof: sun and water resistant for outdoor use
• Multi-use: auto, home vents, speaker grilles, or craft projects

How durable is the black finish and aluminium alloy over time?

The black coating and aluminium base are chosen for long-term resistance to corrosion, UV exposure and typical road wear. While robust, occasional inspection and cleaning will keep the mesh performing and looking its best.

• Aluminium core: naturally corrosion-resistant material
• Black coating: UV-stable finish for consistent appearance
• Low maintenance: rinse or brush debris away as needed

Who this is for: AggAuto’s 40" x 13" car grill mesh is suited to DIY enthusiasts, body shop techs, and car owners who want a blend of protection and style without a custom manufacturing job. If you need a lightweight, weatherproof grille insert that’s easy to cut and install for bumpers, vents, or custom projects, this mesh is a practical, cost-effective choice.
