ARANA 14-inch Gas Struts for Toolcart Lids, 24 lb Force — Matched 2-Piece Set, Chrome-Plated Durable

These ARANA 14-inch gas struts (24 lb), replacement models C16-28554 and C16-33275, provide smooth lift and hold for toolcart lids and similar panels — sold as a 2-piece matched set.

If your toolcart lid sags, slams shut, or won’t stay open, these ARANA gas struts are engineered to restore controlled lift and reliable hold. They match common interchange numbers so they fit a wide range of carts and panels. Constructed from industrial-grade materials and finished with multi-layer chrome plating, they’re built to resist corrosion, reduce friction, and deliver consistent force across temperature extremes.

How do these gas struts improve a sagging or heavy toolcart lid?

ARANA struts add a calibrated counterforce so lids open smoothly and remain supported without extra props. The 24 lb force rating balances lifting power and controlled motion for typical toolcart lids, preventing sudden closures.

• Matched pair for even lift and stable operation
• 24 lb nominal force suitable for most mid-size lids
• Precision gas charge ensures consistent open/close speed
• Pre-fitted ball-stud ends for easy assembly

Will these replacements fit my existing toolcart or device?

These struts cross-reference several common part numbers (C16-06389, C16-33275, 8196312 and others) to maximize compatibility. Measure stroke length and mounting spacing to confirm fit before ordering.

• 14-inch overall length with specified stroke — compare to your current part
• Interchange list included for quick compatibility checking
• Standard ball-stud mounts match most toolcart brackets
• Sold in pairs so both sides are matched for balanced performance

What makes these gas struts durable in varied climates and heavy use?

ARANA uses Grade 45 high-carbon steel, multi-layer chrome plating and wear-resistant hydraulic oil to resist corrosion and maintain pressure. That construction reduces leaks and performance loss, giving reliable operation from very cold to very hot conditions.

• Grade 45 carbon-steel body resists bending under load
• Mirror chrome finish lowers friction and prevents rust
• Hydraulic fluid formulated for -40°F to 110°F performance
• Engineered for 50,000+ compression cycles without force loss

How simple is installation and what support does ARANA provide?

Install these gas struts in minutes with basic tools; in many cases a screwdriver is all you need. ARANA offers a 365-day support promise, so you can reach out if anything needs attention after delivery.

• Quick swap—no professional mechanic required
• Compatible with standard socket or screwdriver for fast mounting
• Comes as a matched two-pack for synchronized lift
• 365-day customer support for post-purchase questions
