BDJHMP Cordless Rivet Gun Compatible with DEWALT 20V MAX Battery — Brushless, 2000 lb Pull, Tool Only

BDJHMP cordless rivet gun (tool only) is a compact, battery-powered pop riveter engineered for fast, one-handed installation of alloy, aluminum, stainless and carbon rivets whenever paired with a compatible DEWALT 20V MAX battery.

Designed for builders, fabricators and DIYers who need a portable, high-force riveting solution, this unit accepts DEWALT 20V MAX batteries (DCB200, DCB201, DCB203, DCB204, DCB205, DCB206) but is sold without a battery or charger. It uses a brushless motor to deliver strong, consistent pulling force while staying lightweight at just 3.2 lbs (1.45 kg), and it includes three tool-free nose pieces so you can switch between common rivet sizes quickly.

How much pulling power does this rivet gun provide?

The BDJHMP cordless riveter uses a brushless high-torque motor that produces up to 2000 lbs of pulling force, enabling it to set stubborn or larger blind rivets reliably. Brushless technology also reduces noise and wear for longer service life compared with brushed motors.

• Up to 2000 lbs maximum pull force for tough rivets
• Brushless motor for extended lifespan and low maintenance
• Consistent performance on alloy, stainless, and aluminum rivets

What rivet sizes and materials can it handle?

The tool ships with three interchangeable, tool-free nose pieces sized for 1/8", 5/32" and 3/16" rivets, making it suitable for most common pop rivet tasks. It supports a range of rivet materials so you can use it on metalwork, automotive panels, HVAC, and general fabrication projects.

• Included nose sizes: 1/8", 5/32", 3/16" — swap without tools
• Compatible rivet materials: aluminum, alloy, copper, stainless steel, carbon steel, iron
• Ideal for metal sheets, brackets, guttering, and trim work

How does the cordless operation and controls improve workflow?

Running on DEWALT 20V MAX batteries gives you cord-free mobility for work in tight spaces or on ladders, while the one-button forward/reverse control simplifies the entire riveting cycle. The center position locks the trigger for safe transport, and reverse mode clears jammed mandrels without manual pulling.

• Cordless freedom with compatible DEWALT 20V batteries (not included)
• One-button forward/reverse for rivet setting, mandrel break, and retraction
• Trigger lock in center position prevents accidental operation

How portable and user-friendly is the rivet gun?

Weighing approximately 3.2 lbs (1.45 kg), the BDJHMP riveter is designed for comfortable one-handed use over extended periods. Its compact profile and light weight reduce fatigue on repetitive jobs while maintaining the clamping force needed for secure installations.

• Lightweight 3.2 lb design for easy single-handed operation
• Compact footprint for access in confined areas and overhead work
• Tool-only packaging keeps weight and cost down for users with existing batteries

Who is this tool for? Professionals, hobbyists and home renovators who already own DEWALT 20V MAX batteries — or anyone planning to build a compatible battery set — will value the BDJHMP cordless rivet gun for its portability, high pulling force and simple controls. It’s a practical choice for sheet metal installers, mechanics, HVAC technicians, metal fabricators and serious DIYers who need a dependable, low-maintenance riveting solution without the constraints of a power cord.
