Bondo 3M Professional Fast Dry Filler (Quart) is a fast-curing, two-part, lightweight body filler designed for same-day repairs on metal, wood, fiberglass, masonry, and concrete.

This quart-size filler (25 oz / 708.74 g) delivers a rapid-setting compound that mixes easily with the included hardener and sands to a smooth, paintable finish. Formulated to shrink minimally, this Bondo fast-dry filler speeds project timelines whether you’re repairing automotive panels, patching wood trim, or restoring fiberglass components. It comes ready for use in professional and DIY environments and is packaged for trade customers and contractors in 6-per-case cartons.

How quickly does this filler cure and when can I sand or paint?

The Bondo fast dry formulation is optimized to cure much faster than standard fillers, enabling sanding and painting the same day in many conditions. Full working times depend on temperature and mix ratio, but typical shop conditions allow sanding within 20–40 minutes after mixing.

• Fast-set chemistry for reduced wait time between layers
• Sands smoothly to feather edges for seamless blends
• Paintable after sanding—ideal for same-day finishing
• Non-shrinking formula for accurate final volume

What surfaces can I use Bondo 3M Fast Dry Filler on?

This filler is formulated to adhere to a wide range of substrates commonly encountered in automotive and building repairs. It bonds well to metal, wood, fiberglass, masonry, and concrete when surfaces are prepared correctly (cleaned, degreased, and abraded as needed).

• Metals: ideal for body panels and metal patch work
• Wood: fills gouges, knots, and rotten spots after stabilization
• Fiberglass: suitable for gelcoat repairs and laminations
• Masonry/concrete: fills small holes and surface imperfections

How do I mix and apply the product for best results?

Mix the two-part lightweight compound using the prescribed portion of filler to hardener; blend thoroughly until an even color and consistency are reached. Apply with a spreader or putty knife, force material into the defect, then shape and feather the edges before it sets.

• Use proper hardener amount to control cure speed and working time
• Apply in thin layers for deep repairs to avoid overheating
• Sand progressively from coarse to fine grit to achieve smoothness
• Prime before topcoat for best paint adhesion and color uniformity
