Bosch QuietCast Front Ceramic Brake Pads BC1623 — Front Axle Set, Low Dust Quiet Performance

Built on Bosch’s decades of brake engineering, the BC1623 QuietCast pads combine a proprietary ceramic friction formulation with advanced multilayer rubber-core shims and a rust-resistant backing plate. This kit supplies both pads for one axle, a hardware kit where applicable, and synthetic lubricant to optimize sliding components so installation is straightforward and performance is consistent from first stop to last.

How do these pads reduce noise compared with standard replacements?

The QuietCast design prioritizes sound control through a multi-layered shim system that bonds rubber to steel for superior vibration damping. Combined with the ceramic friction compound, this construction lowers squeal and harsh stop noise without sacrificing braking power.

• Molded Shim Technology (MST) for a secure rubber-to-steel interface
• Pre-attached OE-style multilayer shims to minimize vibration
• Ceramic friction blend engineered for smooth engagement

What durability and corrosion protections are included?

Bosch applies a powder-coat finish to the backing plate to slow rust and extend service life in wet or salty environments. Slots and chamfers in the pad shape help manage heat and wear, promoting even contact and consistent performance over time.

• Powder-coated backing plates to resist corrosion
• OE-style slots and chamfers for controlled wear and heat dissipation
• Robust ceramic material formulated for long-term stability

Will the BC1623 give reliable stopping power and low dust?

The proprietary ceramic friction material is engineered for solid stopping performance with reduced brake dust compared to many semi-metallic alternatives. You get dependable bite and pedal feel while keeping wheels cleaner between services.

• Ceramic compound for consistent friction and fade resistance
• Lower particulates produced for reduced wheel soiling
• Tested by Bosch engineers to balance power, noise, and dust

What is included in the package and how does fitment work?

The BC1623 package contains pads for one axle (two wheels), plus the vehicle-specific hardware kit where available and synthetic lubricant for sliding contact points. Fitment varies by make, model, year, and trim — always confirm compatibility using the vehicle fitment tool before ordering.

• Complete pad set for the front axle (2 wheels)
• Hardware kit included when applicable and synthetic lubricant
• Fits select Mazda CX-5 model years; verify trim/engine fitment online

Who is this for? The Bosch BC1623 QuietCast front ceramic pads suit drivers seeking an OE-quality replacement that minimizes noise and dust while providing reliable stopping power and enhanced rust resistance. They’re ideal for owners of compatible Mazda CX-5 models and anyone who wants a premium, ready-to-install pad set from a long-established brake supplier.
