Bosch QuietCast Rear Ceramic Brake Pads BC1114 — Rear Axle, Low Dust Quiet Stopping with Molded Shim Technology

Bosch QuietCast BC1114 rear ceramic brake pads are a ready-to-install OE-style replacement set engineered for quiet stopping, low dust, and long life.

Built on Bosch’s decades of braking expertise, the QuietCast BC1114 combines a proprietary ceramic friction compound with Molded Shim Technology (MST) and powder-coated backing plates to deliver reliable performance for compatible Subaru rear applications. This axle kit includes two pads, hardware where applicable, and synthetic lubricant for smooth sliding contact, making it a straightforward upgrade when you need dependable, low-noise braking without frequent cleaning.

How do these pads reduce noise during braking?

The QuietCast line uses Bosch’s industry-leading pre-attached multilayer rubber-core shims and MST to dampen vibration and minimize rattle. Those design choices create a better bond between shim and steel so contact is quieter under load.

• Molded Shim Technology (MST) for consistent noise suppression
• Pre-attached OE-style multilayer rubber-core shims to reduce vibration
• Precision slots and chamfers to minimize harmonic noise

What performance should I expect from the ceramic friction material?

The ceramic compound is formulated and tested by Bosch engineers for balanced stopping power and minimal dust generation. You’ll get dependable deceleration across normal driving conditions with cleaner wheels compared with many semi-metallic pads.

• Ceramic formulation for steady friction and reduced rotor wear
• Low-dust operation to keep wheels cleaner between maintenance intervals
• Engineered for consistent pedal feel during daily driving

Why is durability improved with these replacement pads?

Bosch applies a durable powder-coated finish to the backing plates to resist corrosion and extend service life. Combined with quality construction and OE-style fitment details, the BC1114 pads are built to last and maintain reliable fit and function.

• Powder-coated backing plates resist rust for longer part life
• OE-style slots and chamfers for correct fit and reduced edge wear
• Includes hardware and synthetic lubricant to protect sliding points

Will these pads fit my vehicle and what’s included?

The BC1114 is intended for select rear applications on multiple Subaru models; trim level and engine can affect compatibility. The set covers one axle (two wheels) and comes with installation hardware where applicable plus synthetic lubricant to ease assembly and reduce drag.

• Fits select Subaru rear brakes: BRZ, Crosstrek, Forester, Impreza, Legacy, Outback, WRX, XV Crosstrek (verify fitment)
• Includes pads for one axle, hardware kit when available, and synthetic lubricant
• Confirm vehicle fit with the fitment checker before purchase

Who is this for? Bosch QuietCast BC1114 rear ceramic pads are aimed at drivers who want an OE-style brake replacement with quieter operation, lower dust, and durable corrosion protection—especially owners of compatible Subaru models seeking straightforward, ready-to-install pads that maintain reliable everyday braking without frequent wheel cleaning.
