Carlisle HD Field Trax ATV/UTV Tire 22.5x10-8 — Wide Footprint, Reinforced Casing

The Carlisle HD Field Trax 22.5x10-8 is a heavy-duty ATV/UTV tire designed to deliver a wide, stable footprint, aggressive block tread traction on hardpack, and reinforced casing for cut and puncture resistance.

Built for side-by-sides, utility ATVs and select turf applications, the HD Field Trax blends long-wearing compounds with a dense tread pattern to balance grip and surface protection. The tire’s broad contact area improves flotation and steering stability while the reinforced construction helps reduce downtime from damage during work or recreation.

How does the HD Field Trax perform on hardpack and compacted surfaces?

The dense block tread pattern is engineered to bite into hard, compacted ground without tearing turf or causing excessive wear. You’ll notice predictable steering and consistent traction during repeated passes.

• Wide footprint improves surface contact and reduces rutting.
• Dense blocks provide steady traction on firm soil.
• Optimized pattern minimizes turf scuffing on maintained surfaces.

Will this tire resist punctures and rough-field damage?

The HD Field Trax uses a reinforced casing and damage-resistant compounds that help it withstand cuts, scrapes and small punctures common in field and trail use. While no tire is impervious to every hazard, this design extends service life under tougher conditions.

• Reinforced sidewalls reduce susceptibility to tears.
• Durable rubber compound resists cuts and abrasion.
• Construction suited for mixed terrain and light debris.

What load capacity and vehicle fit should I expect?

This tire supports up to 600 pounds and is a vehicle-specific fitment intended for ATVs, UTVs, side-by-sides and fun-karts that accept a 22.5x10-8 size. Always verify fitment and rim compatibility before purchase.

• Rated load capacity: 600 pounds per tire.
• Size: 22.5x10-8 — check vehicle and rim specs.
• Sold as tire only; rim not included.

How long will the tire last and what maintenance helps longevity?

Constructed with long-lasting materials, the HD Field Trax is intended for extended service life under moderate to heavy use. Routine maintenance—correct inflation, rotation and inspection for damage—keeps performance consistent and prolongs wear life.

• Use recommended inflation to avoid uneven wear.
• Rotate tires regularly on multi-axle setups.
• Inspect for embedded debris and sidewall damage after heavy use.

Who is this for: The Carlisle HD Field Trax 22.5x10-8 suits owners of ATVs, utility vehicles and side-by-sides who need a balance of traction, surface protection and durability. It’s a good choice for landscapers, small-farm operators, recreation riders who cross varied terrain, and facilities that require reliable performance on maintained turf and compacted trails. Note that rims are sold separately and fit should be confirmed with your vehicle’s specifications before ordering.
