The Dorman 939-174 is made to replace factory wheels on specific model years of Toyota Corolla, Toyota Matrix and the Pontiac Vibe. How does this wheel compare to the original factory wheel?

This replacement is engineered to mirror the factory wheel’s mounting geometry, overall diameter, and width so tire fitment and alignment remain consistent. Dorman performs radial and axial run-out checks plus dynamic testing to ensure structural behavior aligns with expectations under normal driving conditions. You should see equivalent handling and tire seating compared to the original wheel.

• Same 16 x 6.5 in. sizing for tire compatibility
• Factory-style bolt pattern and center bore for proper mounting
• Tested for run-out and dynamic balance to reduce vibration

What testing and quality controls back this wheel?

Dorman subjects replacement wheels to multiple mechanical tests that evaluate roundness and structural response. These include radial run-out, axial run-out, and dynamic radial testing to ensure the wheel performs under rotation and load. In addition, U.S.-based designers and engineers oversee specifications and production oversight to maintain consistent quality.

• Dynamic radial testing to verify behavior during rotation
• Radial and axial run-out checks to limit vibrations
• Design and engineering review by Dorman teams in the United States

How do I confirm this wheel will fit my vehicle?

If you see a blue “i” icon, hover over it to read any fitment notes and verify those details match your vehicle’s hub, brake clearance and offset.
