Chemical Guys Carbon Force Ceramic Paint Coating Kit — 1 oz, 3 Applicators, SiO2 Hydrophobic Protection

Carbon Force Ceramic Paint Coating Kit by Chemical Guys is a professional-grade SiO2 ceramic coating that creates a durable, hydrophobic protective layer and high-gloss finish for exterior vehicle surfaces. Carbon Force (WAC232) uses advanced silica-based nanotechnology to bond to paint and clear coat, offering water beading, surface slickness, and long-term protection against environmental contaminants. The kit includes a 1 fl oz bottle and three microsuede applicators for accurate, even coverage. It’s formulated to be safe on paint, clear coat, headlights, chrome, and exterior trim, making it a versatile option for detailing cars, trucks, motorcycles, and boats.

How does Carbon Force protect my car’s paint?

Carbon Force forms a hard, bonded SiO2 layer on the surface that resists water, dirt, and many environmental pollutants. Rather than sitting on top like a wax, it chemically bonds to the finish to provide longer-lasting defense and easier maintenance.

• Creates a hydrophobic barrier that sheds water and reduces staining
• Helps block oxidation and environmental fallout
• Reduces surface contamination and makes washing simpler
• Designed to bond to clear coat for enhanced durability

How long does the protection last and what maintenance is needed?

With correct surface preparation and routine care, Carbon Force protection can last up to five years. Longevity depends on exposure, washing habits, and environmental conditions; periodic maintenance washes and protective top-ups can extend performance.

• Lasts up to 5 years with proper prep and care
• Regular gentle washes preserve hydrophobic performance
• Use pH-balanced shampoos and avoid abrasive cleaners
• Seasonal inspections and re-coats where needed

What surfaces can I apply this ceramic coating to?

Carbon Force is formulated for a variety of exterior surfaces including painted panels, clear coats, headlights, chrome, and trim. It’s suitable for most vehicle types, giving consistent gloss and protection across different materials when applied correctly.

• Safe for painted surfaces and factory clear coats
• Can be used on headlights, metal trim, and chrome accents
• Appropriate for cars, trucks, motorcycles, and boats
• Not intended for soft plastics or interior surfaces

What’s included and how is the kit applied?

The Carbon Force kit contains a 1 fl oz bottle of ceramic coating and three microsuede applicators to help achieve smooth, even coverage. Proper application requires clean, decontaminated paint and careful, small-panel technique to avoid high spots and ensure an even bond.

• Includes 1 fl oz Carbon Force ceramic coating (WAC232)
• Three microsuede applicators for controlled application
• Apply to fully washed, decontaminated, and corrected paint
• Work in small sections and follow cure times per instructions

Who is this for? Carbon Force is aimed at enthusiasts and professional detailers who want a high-gloss, long-lasting protective coating without large-quantity product commitment. It’s ideal for vehicle owners who perform careful prep work, value enduring hydrophobic performance, and seek a compact kit to protect paint, trim, and clear surfaces. If you prefer an application that bonds to your vehicle’s finish rather than a sacrificial wax, this kit offers a concentrated, professional-style solution in a small, easy-to-handle package.

FAQ

Q: Can I apply Carbon Force over existing wax or sealants?

A: No. For best bonding, remove wax, sealants, and contamination with proper wash, decon, and paint correction before applying Carbon Force.

Q: How much surface area does a 1 fl oz bottle cover?

A: One ounce typically covers small-to-medium vehicles if applied sparingly; expect to work panel by panel for even coverage.
