Chemical Guys Wheel Cleaner concentrated citrus formula 1 Gallon — safe on painted, powder-coated & chrome wheels

Chemical Guys Signature Series Wheel Cleaner is a concentrated citrus-based wheel cleaner engineered to safely dissolve brake dust, road grime, and stubborn filth from painted, powder-coated, chrome, anodized, and custom wheels.

This professional-strength formula combines natural citrus extracts with advanced surfactants to cut through heavy brake dust and embedded dirt without damaging wheel finishes. The liquid is super-concentrated so you can dilute it for regular maintenance or use a stronger solution for heavily contaminated wheels. It rinses clean and helps restore bright metal and painted surfaces while extending the life of tire dressings when wheels and sidewalls are properly prepared.

How quickly does it remove brake dust and road grime?

Signature Series is formulated to loosen and suspend iron particles and carbon-based brake dust so they rinse away instead of sticking and etching. In many cases, visible contamination softens within minutes, allowing agitation with a brush to remove particles safely.

• Works on heavy brake dust and baked-on road grime
• 35% stronger formula compared to earlier versions
• Spray, agitate with a brush, then rinse for best results
• Safe on painted and powder-coated wheels when used per directions

What dilution and application method should I use?

The product is super-concentrated for flexible dilution. Use a 4:1 water-to-product ratio for most wheel cleaning jobs; stronger mixes can be used for very soiled wheels, always testing an inconspicuous area first.

• Standard mix: dilute to 4:1 (water:cleaner) for regular cleaning
• Stronger dilution for severe contamination — rinse promptly
• Spray directly onto wheel and tire, agitate, then rinse
• Safe for calipers, plastic covers, and undercarriage components

Will it damage custom finishes, chrome, or anodized wheels?

The citrus-based formula is designed to be tough on grime but gentle on a wide variety of factory and aftermarket finishes. Always perform a spot test on unusual or unsealed finishes before full application to ensure compatibility.

• Formulated for painted, powder-coated, chrome, polished, and anodized wheels
• Suitable for restoring whitewall tires when used with proper agitation
• Non-caustic citrus cleaners reduce risk compared to harsh acids
• Professional-grade but recommended to test delicate custom coatings first

How does this cleaner help maintain tire dressings and long-term appearance?

Removing embedded dirt and brake dust prevents premature wear of protective dressings and helps products adhere and last longer. Clean, contaminant-free surfaces allow sealants and dressings to provide even coverage and a durable finish.

• Thorough cleaning reduces buildup that breaks down dressings
• Prepares sidewalls for longer-lasting tire dressing results
• Concentrated formula means fewer product runs per season
• Rinses clean to avoid residue that attracts dirt
