CK FORMULA Matte Black License Plate Frames 2-Pack — Slim Stainless Steel, Rust-Resistant, Rattle-Free

These are a pair of slim matte-black stainless steel license plate frames designed to give your car a clean, modern look while resisting rust, rattles, and everyday wear.

Upgrade your vehicle’s appearance with a low-profile plate frame that balances style and durability. The CK FORMULA Matte Black License Plate Frames come as a 2-pack, sized to fit standard U.S. plates (12.3" x 6.4") and built from heavy-duty stainless steel with a matte powder-coat finish. They use a two-hole mounting pattern common on many cars and include matching screw caps, foam backing pads, and multiple fastener options to ensure a secure, quiet installation.

Will these frames fit my car and comply with state rules?

These frames are designed for standard U.S. license plates and a two-hole mounting layout used by many sedans, trucks, SUVs, and EVs. However, laws differ by state regarding frame coverage of registration stickers and plate slogans; check local regulations before installing.

• Standard size: 12.3" x 6.4" — fits most U.S. plates.
• Two-hole design — compatible with many factory plate mounts.
• Legal only in states where bottom stickers/slogans need not remain visible (see local rules).
• Works with common makes like BMW, Ford, Toyota, Mercedes, Audi, Chevy, Tesla, Lexus, Subaru, Volkswagen.

How do these frames hold up to weather, rust, and daily driving?

Constructed from premium stainless steel and finished with a matte powder coat, the frames resist corrosion, fading, and chipping better than thin aluminum options. Rounded corners and a protective coating prevent paint damage and keep the frame looking new through washes and road salt exposure.

• Stainless steel core for strength and warp resistance.
• Matte powder coat resists fading, peeling, and scratches.
• Rounded corners reduce the risk of scuffs or paint chips.
• Designed to withstand sun, rain, and routine car washes.

Are these frames easy to install and will they stay quiet?

Yes — installation is a simple four-step process that requires only common tools. Each set includes foam pads, multiple screw types, washers, and matte black screw caps; foam backing and locking clips minimize vibration and eliminate rattling for a quiet fit on daily drives or long trips.

• Includes screws, washers, foam pads, locking rear clips, and screw caps.
• Foam backing prevents metal-on-metal contact and reduces noise.
• Locking clips add security to keep the plate in place.
• Typical install: remove old frame, add pads, align plate, secure screws, snap on caps.

What styling and practical benefits will I notice?

The minimalist matte black finish removes bulky dealership branding and creates a refined, modern look that complements a wide range of vehicle colors and styles. Beyond aesthetics, the robust construction protects the plate edges and reduces the need for frequent replacements caused by bending or rusting.

• Clean, unbranded design for a sleek appearance.
• Matte finish coordinates with black trim and wheels.
• Durable construction reduces maintenance and replacement.
• Matching screw caps finish the look with a uniform appearance.

Who is this for? These frames are ideal for drivers who want a low-profile, durable upgrade: car enthusiasts removing dealer frames, owners replacing corroded hardware, or anyone seeking a quiet, secure mounting solution that enhances a vehicle’s appearance without drawing attention. The complete hardware kit and U.S.-based customer support make this a straightforward addition for most drivers, whether you maintain a commuter sedan, weekend truck, or daily EV.
