How straightforward is the installation and what tools are needed?

The CNYGO light is designed for a plug-and-play swap, requiring only basic trim tools and careful handling of mirror clips. Installation follows a simple remove-and-replace process, but attention to the seal and connector is important to maintain fit and function.

• Use a flathead or trim tool to release the retaining clip and pry out the old lamp.
• Slide the new assembly into the clip position, tuck the sealing lip, and press to lock.
• Check the terminal block and wire length before final reassembly.
• Test the lamp after installation to confirm proper connection and sealing.

What are the construction details and electrical specs?

The assembly combines ABS and polycarbonate for a balance of impact resistance and clarity. It uses six LEDs running on 12V DC with a 3-pin connector, designed for typical vehicle mirror circuits and exterior exposure.

• Housing material: ABS + PC for durability and weather resistance.
• LED count: 6 LEDs producing yellow or white output.
• Electrical: DC 12V, 3-pin connector.
• Finish: silver-tone housing that matches many factory mirrors.

Will this aftermarket lamp resist water, wear, and corrosion?

CNYGO builds the lamp with moisture- and corrosion-resistant materials intended for exterior mirror use; however, it is a non-OEM replacement and not an original factory part. Proper installation and avoiding repeated disassembly of the sealing strip help preserve longevity and weather protection.

• Wear-resistant ABS and PC construction.
• Designed to be moisture- and corrosion-resistant when sealed properly.
• Avoid repeated removal to prevent sealing-strip damage.
• Confirm wire length and connector fit for a secure installation.
