CZC AUTO Hitch Lock Set 5/8" Receiver Pin & 1/4" Coupler Lock Keyed-Alike, Hardened Steel

CZC AUTO Hitch Lock Set is a keyed-alike security kit that includes a 5/8" diameter receiver pin and a 1/4" diameter coupler lock to protect 2" and 2-1/2" trailer connections.

This heavy-duty lock set is designed to deter theft and keep trailers, bike racks, cargo carriers, and towing accessories firmly attached when parked or in transit. Constructed with high-strength steel and corrosion-resistant coatings, the components are sized for common Class III and IV receivers and latch-type couplers. The two-piece package is supplied keyed alike so both locks operate with the same key for convenience.

How does this hitch lock kit secure my trailer and accessories?

The receiver pin and coupler lock work together to prevent unauthorized removal. The 5/8" diameter pin fills the hitch receiver’s hitch ball mount hole, while the 1/4" coupler pin locks the trailer tongue latch closed. Both locks use a tubular-style core and hardened metal construction to resist tampering and cutting.

• 5/8" receiver pin with 3-1/2" effective length for 2" and 2-1/2" receivers
• 1/4" coupler lock pin fits latch-type couplers with up to 2-1/2" span
• Zinc alloy tubular lock core and solid round keys for added pick-resistance
• Black electrophoretic paint finish to reduce corrosion and wear

Will these locks fit my hitch and trailer coupler?

They are made to fit standard Class III and IV hitch receivers and common latch-style couplers. The receiver pin measures 5/8" in diameter with a 3-1/2" effective length, while the coupler pin is 1/4" diameter and designed to secure couplers with a maximum latch span of 2-1/2". Always measure your receiver tube and coupler latch before purchasing to confirm compatibility.

• Compatible with 2" and 2-1/2" receiver tubes
• Coupler pin suited for latch spans up to 2-1/2"
• Works with hitch racks, bike racks, cargo carriers, and ball mounts
• Keyed-alike setup eliminates need for multiple keys

How easy is it to install and use the CZC AUTO hitch locks?

Installation is straightforward and requires no tools: slide the receiver pin through the hitch and push the coupler pin through the latch to lock. Each set includes two identical keys for quick locking and unlocking. After locking, pull on the lock head to verify engagement and ensure the pin is secure.

• Tool-free installation — push-in pins and lock with the supplied key
• Two matching keys included per set for convenience
• Simple pull-test confirms proper locking
• Low-profile heads reduce snagging and interference

How durable and weather-resistant are these locks?

The locks are built with high-strength steel and coated using an electrophoretic paint process that limits rust and surface corrosion. The tubular lock core is made from zinc alloy for improved durability and pick resistance. While designed for outdoor use, periodic maintenance like light lubrication will extend service life in harsh climates.

• High-strength steel construction for impact resistance
• Black electrophoretic coating minimizes corrosion
• Zinc alloy core improves longevity and security
• Recommended occasional lubrication to maintain smooth operation
