Deluwire 3FT 7-Pin Trailer Wiring Harness — Double-Prong Terminals, Waterproof PVC Jacket

This compact, 3-foot harness is built to simplify trailer hookups without rewiring: it delivers standardized RV color-coded wiring, heavier-gauge conductors where needed, and a rugged PVC jacket that resists water and corrosion. Designed for use with five-wheel, gooseneck and bumper-mounted trailers, the harness pairs vehicle output to trailer functions while improving contact reliability through dual-pin terminals.

How does this harness improve connection reliability?

The Deluwire harness replaces single-pin designs with double prongs that provide a firmer mechanical fit and better electrical contact. That reduces intermittent signals and ensures steadier current flow for lights and brakes under vibration and load.

• Double-prong terminals for enhanced contact stability
• 2/10 + 1/12 + 4/14 gauge conductor arrangement for appropriate current capacity
• Color-coded RV-standard wires for straightforward splicing and identification

Will it resist weather and corrosion in outdoor use?

Yes — the harness is sheathed in a kink-free PVC jacket that sheds moisture and guards the conductors from road grime and salt. The materials and construction are chosen to extend service life in trailer and boat applications.

• Waterproof jacket prevents moisture ingress
• Corrosion-resistant materials for longer-term reliability
• Kink-free design maintains wire integrity during movement

Is this harness compatible with my trailer or vehicle?

The harness follows standard RV 7-pin color coding and fits the majority of trailers, RVs and trucks that use the common 7-way configuration. Because connector designs and wiring assignments can vary between manufacturers, confirm compatibility with your trailer’s wiring before installation to avoid mismatches.

• Standard 7-pin RV wiring colors for easy matching
• 3-foot length designed for bumper and bed-mounted hook-ups
• Simple splicing recommended when adapters or custom fits are needed

How do I install it and what should I check first?

Installation is typically a matter of matching the color-coded wires and securing the double-prong plug into the vehicle’s 7-way receptacle. Before cutting or splicing, test your vehicle’s outputs with a trailer light tester and verify that each wire corresponds to the correct function.

• Test vehicle outputs before connecting
• Match RV-standard colors for tail, brake, turn, reverse and brake power
• Use proper connectors and waterproof seals for splices

Who this harness is for: The Deluwire 3FT 7-Pin Trailer Wiring Harness is aimed at trailer owners, RV enthusiasts, boat haulers and pickup drivers who need a short, dependable 7-way connection without a full rewire. It’s especially useful for five-wheel and gooseneck trailers and for anyone who prefers the added contact security of double-prong terminals and the protection of a waterproof PVC jacket. If you’re unsure about fitment, verify wiring assignments or consult an installer to ensure a correct match before purchase.
