Dulepax RV Awning Sun Shade Screen 8'x15'3" for 16' Awning — Heavy-Duty 7.9 oz Mesh, Zippered Privacy Panel

Dulepax RV Awning Sun Shade Screen with Zipper is a heavy-duty, 8'x15'3" privacy and sun-blocking mesh panel designed to attach to 16' RV awnings and cut heat, glare, and UV while keeping airflow.

This screened awning panel is built to give RV owners a breathable, private outdoor room that installs quickly and packs away compactly for travel. Constructed from a coated 7.9 oz mesh with smaller holes than many competitors, it reduces sun exposure and lowers ambient temperature under the awning. Reinforced stitching, anti-rust grommets, and included bungees and stakes mean the screen is built for repeated use on campsites, tailgates, and long road trips.

How does the Dulepax screen reduce sun and UV exposure?

The screen uses a dense, coated mesh with a hole size about one-third that of common alternatives, which improves shade and limits UV transmission. It blocks up to 95% of powerful UV rays while letting air pass, so you get cooler shade without feeling claustrophobic.

• 7.9 oz heavy-duty coated mesh for strong UV blocking
• Smaller mesh openings to reduce heat and glare
• Breathable fabric preserves airflow and comfort
• Compatible with common RV awning brands and 16' frames

What makes installation quick and simple?

Dulepax outfitted the screen with a heavy-duty vertical zipper so one person can attach or remove it in just minutes. The top edge tucks neatly into the awning’s valance or rolls up under the awning fabric for frequent setup and takedown.

• Heavy-duty zipper for single-person use
• Top edge designed to roll into the awning fabric
• Includes bungees and metal stakes to anchor the bottom
• Installation typically completed in 1–2 minutes

How durable is the screen in windy or long-term use?

The panel is reinforced with double-needle stitching and 1" anti-rust grommets to resist wear at stress points. When secured with the supplied elastic bungees and stakes, the design tolerates strong gusts and is built for repeated seasonal use.

• Double-needle stitching for seam longevity
• 1" anti-rust grommets at secure points
• Designed to withstand wind speeds above 60 mph when properly anchored
• Coated mesh resists sun degradation for longer life

Which awnings and camping situations does this screen work best with?

The finished screen measures 8' drop by 15'3" length and is intended to fit a 16' awning frame where the screen length is slightly shorter than the frame. It’s compatible with many popular awning brands, making it a flexible choice for RV owners who want privacy and shade.

• Finished fabric size: 8' drop × 15'3" length
• Fits most 16' awning frames from brands like Dometic (A&E), Carefree, Lippert, Fiamma, Solera
• Ideal for campsites, beach stops, tailgate gatherings, and outdoor meal prep
• Packable with included storage bag for easy transport
