Dulepax RV slide-out awning fabric replacement — 49 x 110 inch White, 18 oz UV-resistant vinyl

Dulepax 49" x 110" white slide-out awning fabric replacement is a heavy-duty vinyl panel designed to restore protection and appearance to your RV's slide topper without replacing the entire mechanism.

If your slide-out awning fabric is cracked, faded, or leaking, swapping the material is an affordable way to extend the life of the awning housing and keep your RV weather-ready. This Dulepax replacement uses a three-ply 18 oz vinyl treated for cold-weather flexibility and UV resistance. It ships as fabric only so you can trim and install it to match the width and length of most slide-topper systems on fifth wheels, travel trailers and motorhomes.

How durable is this Dulepax vinyl fabric for outdoor RV use?

The fabric is constructed from a three-layer, 18 oz vinyl designed to resist UV fading and repel water. A cold-flex treatment reduces cracking in subfreezing temperatures, making it suited for year-round use across different climates. The heavy weight also helps it resist tearing and stretching under normal awning loads.

• 18 oz three-ply premium vinyl for strength and longevity
• UV-resistant coating to slow color loss and sun damage
• Cold-flex treatment to resist cracking down to -30°F
• Waterproof surface to shed rain and moisture

Will this replacement fabric fit my slide topper and how is it installed?

Dulepax ships the panel with two sewn-in polycords that slide into the rolltube and extended canopy channels common on many slide toppers. The 49" width fits the valance or channel width on most systems; lengths are provided so you can trim to fit single or multiple slide tops. Installation uses no special tools and can be completed by someone comfortable working with awning channels and basic hand tools.

• 49" factory width with customizable length options (trim to fit)
• Sewn-in dual polycords for rolltube and extended canopy insertion
• Compatible with many brands: Dometic (A&E), Carefree, Lippert, Fiamma, Solera
• Simple, non-specialized installation — no fabrication required

What sizes and colors are available and can I cut the fabric myself?

Dulepax offers multiple lengths so you can choose the nearest size and trim the excess to match your slide-topper. The fabric is available in white and black, with the white option balancing heat reflection and a clean appearance. Cutting is straightforward with a sharp utility knife or heavy-duty scissors, and the polycord channels remain intact after trimming.

• Standard width: 49"; lengths: 110", 140", 170", 200", 250", 300"
• Color choices: white or black to match RV exterior styling
• Easily trimmed to fit one or multiple slide toppers with basic tools
• Dual polycords preserve mounting method after cutting to length

How does replacing just the fabric compare to replacing the whole awning?

Replacing the fabric is a cost-effective alternative to buying a full awning assembly or paying shop labor for a total replacement. Swapping the material restores weather protection and aesthetics while keeping your existing rolltube, arms, and hardware. It’s faster, requires fewer parts, and reduces waste by reusing functional components.

• Lower cost than a full unit or dealer replacement
• Preserves existing hardware and mechanisms when intact
• Quicker turnaround — often a single afternoon for DIY install
• Reduced waste and simpler logistics than full awning replacement

Who is this for: The Dulepax 49" x 110" slide-out awning fabric is aimed at RV owners who need a rugged, weather-resistant replacement panel without replacing the whole awning mechanism. It suits DIYers comfortable trimming fabric and sliding polycords into standard rolltube channels, and owners of fifth wheels, travel trailers, or motorhomes wanting to restore function and appearance on a budget while keeping original hardware.
