Yes — the 6AN PTFE hose is commonly used in LS swaps and aftermarket EFI systems because of its chemical compatibility and pressure ratings. Its 5/16" (0.31") inner diameter matches typical 6AN plumbing, and the 20 ft length gives flexibility for routing in larger engine bays.
The PTFE core and nylon braid resist heat and chemical attack far better than many rubber hoses. The hose is rated to operate from -76°F to 446°F (-60°C to 230°C), with a maximum working pressure of 1,500 PSI and a burst pressure around 4,500 PSI, making it suitable for high-demand fuel systems.
This PTFE hose is stiffer than conventional rubber lines and should not be folded or sharply bent; planning routing and using proper AN fittings and clamps is essential. Professional installation is recommended for complex builds to ensure leak-free connections and correct routing away from extreme heat or moving parts.
EVIL ENERGY PTFE fuel lines are formulated to be compatible with common automotive fuels, including gasoline and ethanol blends (E85), and can also carry many lubricants and coolants used in vehicle systems. Always verify compatibility if you plan to run specialty chemicals outside typical automotive applications.
Q: Is this hose safe for E85 fuel?
A: Yes. The EVIL ENERGY PTFE line is rated for E85 and common automotive fuels, designed for chemical compatibility with ethanol blends.
Q: Can I bend the PTFE hose tightly around fittings?
A: No. The PTFE hose is relatively stiff and must not be folded; use proper routing and AN fittings with correct bend radii.
