EZAUTO WRAP Matte Black 2in x 25ft 3M 2080 Vinyl Trim Wrap — Heat-Conformable, Repositionable, Bubble-Free Finish

EZAUTO WRAP 2 inches x 25 feet Matte Black vinyl kit is a genuine 3M 2080 automotive cast film designed for blacking out window and door trim with a long-lasting, repositionable finish.

This wrap kit contains a 2" by 25' length of matte black 3M 2080 film engineered for vehicle trim blackouts and chrome delete jobs. The material uses a pressure-activated, self-adhesive 3M Comply adhesive for bubble-free application and heat-conformability for complex curves. A complimentary squeegee and razor blade are included so you can prep and install the strip right away. The film offers strong outdoor durability and resists common contaminants, making it a practical styling upgrade that can be removed cleanly when desired.

How does this vinyl perform on window and door trim?

The 3M 2080 cast vinyl is soft and stretchable to follow contours and tight corners while remaining stable over time. It resists water, dirt, grease, salt and mild oils so it holds up in everyday driving conditions without deteriorating quickly. When heated lightly, creases and edges conform for a seamless finish, and the adhesive is designed to minimize bubbles during application.

• Automotive cast construction for flexible, permanent-looking coverage
• Pressure-activated 3M Comply adhesive reduces air entrapment
• Heat-conformable for curves, corners and compound contours
• Durability against common road contaminants and UV exposure

Will this product damage my vehicle’s paint or trim?

This film is formulated to be removable and safe for painted surfaces when applied and removed correctly. It can be repositioned during installation to achieve precise placement, and it typically leaves no adhesive residue if removed within recommended timeframes. Always test a small, inconspicuous area first and follow surface-preparation steps to prevent problems.

• Non-destructive removal when done properly
• Repositionable adhesive for accurate application
• Leaves minimal residue if removed according to guidelines
• Recommended: clean, dry surface before applying

What tools and techniques are included and recommended?

The kit ships with a squeegee and a razor blade to help smooth edges, remove bubbles, and trim excess film. Use a heat gun or hair dryer for complex sections to relax the vinyl and conform it around corners. Taking your time and working in small sections prevents stretching beyond the film’s limits and gives a neater result.

• Included: squeegee and razor blade for smoothing and trimming
• Use a heat source for bends, recesses and tight edges
• Work slowly, peel liner progressively, and squeegee as you go
• Clean surface with soap and water before application

How long will the matte finish last outdoors?

The film offers strong UV resistance and is rated for multi-year outdoor use under normal conditions. Longevity depends on climate, exposure, and maintenance, but the cast 3M 2080 series is designed for extended performance compared with lower-grade vinyls. Regular washing and avoiding harsh chemicals will help preserve the matte appearance.

• High UV durability for extended outdoor life
• Performance varies with climate and care
• Avoid aggressive solvents to maintain matte texture
• Clean with mild soap and water for best results
