The GARTOWEE 5000 lbs A-frame trailer jack is a heavy-duty, top-wind jack with 15 inches of vertical travel and a 10-inch adjustable drop leg designed to lift and stabilize utility, yacht, and camper trailers.

Built from high-strength steel and finished with a protective black coating, this A-frame jack combines robust lifting capacity with corrosion resistance for dependable use on boat ramps, campsites, and work trailers. Its compact retracted height and long extension make hitching, leveling, and supporting trailers easier without bulky tools. The ergonomic top-wind handle and a sturdy mounting design make it suitable for repeated use across seasons.

How much weight can this jack handle and what does that mean for my trailer?

This jack is rated to support up to 5,000 pounds of tongue load, which covers many utility trailers, small boats, and lightweight campers when used as the primary tongue support. Ratings describe the jack’s static lifting capacity — always follow your trailer’s load and balance guidelines.

• Maximum static capacity: 5,000 lbs
• Ideal for small-to-medium boat and utility trailers
• Not a substitute for vehicle tow rating or axle capacity

What are the travel and adjustment ranges, and how do they help during setup?

The GARTOWEE jack provides 15 inches of vertical travel via the top-wind shaft and includes a 10-inch adjustable drop leg to fine-tune the final height. Retracted height is compact for storage and towing; extended height gives ample elevation for hitching and leveling on uneven ground.

• Vertical travel: 15 inches
• Adjustable drop leg: 10 inches for precise leveling
• Retracted/extended overall range: approximately 20" to 45"

How durable is the jack in wet or salty conditions?

The unit is finished with a tough black protective coating to resist corrosion from water, dirt, and road salt, extending working life in coastal and winter environments. Proper maintenance — such as rinsing after salt exposure and periodic lubrication — will further improve longevity.

• High-strength steel construction
• Protective black finish guards against rust
• Designed for marine and roadside conditions with routine care

How easy is it to operate and install on different trailer types?

The top-wind handle is ergonomically shaped for comfortable cranking and quick height changes, and the A-frame mount fits common trailer tongue profiles. Installation requires basic mounting hardware and alignment with your trailer’s jack plate or welded mount.

• Top-wind design for simple, one-person operation
• Fits a wide range of A-frame trailer tongues and yacht trailers
• Mounting hardware and torque specs should follow vehicle guidelines
