GEATaaT RV Skylight Outer Dome Replacement 18"x26" Flange Clear Polycarbonate, UV‑Treated 4" Height

If your RV’s skylight is yellowed, cracked or leaking, swapping in this GEATaaT outer dome refreshes appearance, improves daylighting and re-establishes a solid weather barrier. The dome’s outer flange measures 18" x 26" and the curved dome fits a 14" x 22" opening with a 4" height, matching most common RV, camper, travel trailer, motorhome and fifth wheel sunroof openings. Built from UV-treated polycarbonate, this outer dome resists impact and sunlight while remaining lightweight for straightforward handling.

How will this skylight dome change the look and feel of my RV?

Replacing a cloudy or damaged outer dome instantly brightens interiors and renews an older RV’s curb appeal. The clear polycarbonate brings in more natural light, which makes bathrooms, showers and living areas look fresher and feel more open without altering your roofline.

• Restores clear light transmission to interior spaces
• Removes yellowing and scratches that age the vehicle
• Preserves original roof profile with a low, 4" dome height
• White flange blends with common RV roofs for a clean finish

Will this fit my RV and how do I confirm compatibility?

This outer dome is engineered for standard skylight footprints: the dome itself measures 14" x 22" and the mounting flange is 18" x 26", so it is compatible with most factory and aftermarket openings that list those dimensions. Measure your current skylight frame or the roof opening to match the dome and flange sizes before ordering.

• Match dome dimension 14" x 22" to existing opening size
• Verify flange clearance of 18" x 26" on the roof surface
• Works with RVs, campers, trailers, motorhomes and 5th wheels
• Common replacement for standard factory sunroofs and vents

What materials and protections are used to handle weather and UV exposure?

The GEATaaT dome is molded from high-quality polycarbonate, a material known for its impact resistance and dimensional stability. The outer surface receives an anti-UV coating to minimize yellowing and degradation from sunlight, helping the dome maintain clarity and strength through seasons of sun and storms.

• Polycarbonate construction for toughness and light weight
• Anti-UV coating to reduce sun-induced discoloration
• Engineered to resist impacts, wind, and typical road debris
• Designed to pair with existing interior skylight components

How easy is installation and what comes in the box?

Installation is intended to be straightforward for a DIY-minded owner: the dome sits into the skylight opening and secures with mounting screws, which are included. Many owners follow brief online video guides to ensure a watertight seal and correct fastener torque; proper sealing and surface prep are important to prevent leaks.

• Includes mounting screws for direct attachment
• Simple tools required: screwdriver, sealant, and utility knife
• Online video tutorials available for step-by-step help
• Customer support available by email for installation questions
