These Hooke Road black honeycomb clip-in grille inserts replace the factory openings on 1997–2006 Jeep Wrangler TJ and Unlimited models to deliver a clean, aggressive front-end look without permanent modification.

Designed as a direct-fit cosmetic upgrade, this seven-piece set snaps into the OEM grille openings on Jeep Wrangler TJ and Unlimited (1997–2006) models. Made from durable ABS plastic, the inserts resist rust, corrosion, and peeling while adding a textured honeycomb pattern that modernizes the vehicle's face. Installation requires no drilling or cutting—each piece clips into the existing grille slots for a secure, factory-like appearance.

How do these grille inserts install and will they fit my Jeep?

Installation is straightforward: each insert clips into the existing factory grille openings on compatible Wrangler TJ and Unlimited models. The set is specifically engineered for 1997–2006 Jeeps and aligns with OEM grille geometry for a direct, tool-light fit. No permanent alterations are necessary, so the original grille can be restored at any time.

• Direct-clip installation—no drilling or cutting required
• Fits Jeep Wrangler TJ & Unlimited model years 1997–2006
• Matches OEM grille cavities and mounting points
• Comes as a full seven-piece set covering all openings

What materials are used and how will they hold up outdoors?

The inserts are molded from high-quality ABS plastic chosen for outdoor durability. ABS resists rust and corrosion because it contains no metal parts, and the surface is engineered to resist peeling and minor impacts from road debris. With routine cleaning and proper fit, the inserts maintain appearance through typical road and weather exposure.

• High-quality ABS: lightweight and impact-resistant
• Non-metal construction prevents rust and corrosion
• Surface designed to resist peeling and flaking
• Easy to clean with mild soap and water

How does the honeycomb design change my Jeep's appearance?

The honeycomb pattern replaces open grille cavities with a textured, uniform surface that gives the front end a sportier, more finished appearance. It adds visual depth and a subtle off-road aesthetic without altering headlight or airflow functionality. The black finish integrates well with factory bumpers and grille surrounds for a cohesive look.

• Provides a modern, aggressive front-end style
• Maintains headlight visibility and grille airflow
• Black finish pairs with stock and aftermarket trims
• Seven-piece layout preserves original grille contours

Can these inserts be removed later and will they affect resale?

Yes—because they clip into the OEM openings, the inserts are fully removable without damaging the original grille. This reversible upgrade lets owners return the Jeep to stock condition, which can be helpful when selling or trading the vehicle. Removal is a simple matter of unclipping each piece in reverse of installation.

• Reversible clip-in design protects factory grille
• No adhesive or permanent fasteners used
• Easy removal for resale or repainting projects
• Preserves original parts and mounting hardware

Who is this for: These Hooke Road grille inserts suit Jeep TJ and Unlimited owners (1997–2006) who want a low-effort cosmetic upgrade that improves street and trail appearance without modifying factory parts. They are ideal for drivers seeking a durable, maintenance-light finish, enthusiasts customizing the front end, or anyone who wants a reversible style change that keeps the vehicle’s original components intact.
