These Hooke Road matte black mesh grille inserts replace your Jeep JK's round slot inserts with a durable, open-mesh cover kit (fits 2007–2015 Wrangler JK models with round grille slots).

If you want to add rugged styling and extra front-end protection to your 2007–2015 Jeep Wrangler JK or Unlimited without permanent modification, this 8-piece Hooke Road grille insert kit provides a bolt-in, clip-fit option. Constructed from UV-treated ABS plastic and finished in matte black, the set improves debris screening and preserves airflow while giving your Wrangler a more aggressive look. One additional white insert is included for DIY painting so you can color-match or customize the accent.

Will these inserts fit my Jeep JK Wrangler?

They are engineered for 2007–2015 Jeep Wrangler JK and Unlimited models that have the standard round grille slots. They will not work on special editions or later-model variants that use different grille openings.

• Compatible: 2007–2015 Jeep Wrangler JK & Unlimited with round grille slots.
• Not compatible: Sahara (2016+), Sahara X, Rubicon X, Polar, Dragon, Altitude (2015+), Back Country, 75th Anniversary editions.
• Check your grille slot shape before ordering to ensure proper fit.

How do these inserts affect airflow and radiator protection?

The open mesh pattern is designed to block gravel, paper, and road debris while allowing unrestricted airflow to the radiator. That balance helps maintain cooling performance while reducing the chance of stones or larger particles reaching sensitive components behind the grille.

• Mesh design preserves airflow to the radiator and condenser.
• Blocks common road debris like stones and leaves.
• Helps keep front area cleaner without restricting ventilation.

What are the materials and durability features?

Each insert is molded from high-quality ABS plastic treated for UV resistance and finished in matte black to resist fading. The material is engineered not to rust or corrode and is rigid enough to withstand off-road conditions and everyday exposure.

• UV-treated ABS plastic prevents discoloration and cracking.
• Matte black finish complements factory trim without peeling.
• Lightweight yet sturdy for long-term exterior use.

How straightforward is the installation and what’s included?

Installation is tool-light: inserts clip into the existing grille openings using built-in fasteners. The kit ships with eight pieces—seven matte black inserts plus one white insert intended for painting—along with a guide to walk you through the process.

• Kit includes 8 pieces: 7 matte black + 1 white for painting.
• No heavy modification required; clip-in design fits standard openings.
• Includes an installation guide; common DIY skill level suffices.

Who is this for: This Hooke Road grille insert kit suits Jeep JK owners who want to upgrade their Wrangler’s front-end appearance, add a degree of debris protection, and customize color accents without permanently altering the factory grille. It’s ideal for daily drivers, weekend trail-goers, and anyone seeking a matte-black, low-maintenance styling update for 2007–2015 JK Wranglers that use the round slot grille.
