Jokari Adjustable Tire Cleaning Shield — Fits 13–22" Tires, Cone Protector with Hand Strap for Rim & Hubcap Overspray

The Jokari Adjustable Tire Cleaning Shield is a cone-shaped, hand‑strap-equipped protector that fits 13–22 inch tires to block cleaner overspray and keep rims and hubcaps spotless.

Cleaning tires can turn into a time-consuming mess when cleaner and foam spray land on your wheel faces. The Jokari Adjustable Tire Cleaning Shield streamlines the job: its tapered plastic cone surrounds the tire tread while you spray, preventing overspray on rims and hubcaps. Lightweight construction and an integrated hand strap make it simple to hold, position, and reuse for detailing cars, trucks, and SUVs.

How does this shield stop overspray from reaching rims and hubcaps?

The cone shape creates a physical barrier between the tire sidewall and the wheel face. When positioned against the tire, the shield channels spray onto the rubber and captures mist and drips that would otherwise land on metal or painted wheel surfaces.

• Conical profile blocks lateral spray during application.
• Close-fit edge sits against the tire to reduce gaps for overspray.
• Lightweight plastic surface resists chemical contact and rinses clean easily.

Will it fit different vehicle tire sizes and wheel types?

The Jokari shield adjusts to cover a wide range of diameters so one tool works across most passenger cars, crossovers, SUVs, and many light trucks. Its flexible fit accommodates both low-profile and taller tires while leaving the wheel visible for inspection.

• Adjustable design fits tires from 13 to 22 inches in diameter.
• Works with slim-profile and standard sidewall tires.
• Compatible with alloy, chrome, painted, and steel hubcaps because it prevents direct chemical contact.

How easy is it to handle and store during a detailing session?

Jokari engineered the shield for fast positioning and one-handed control so you can hold it steady while spraying or scrubbing. The built-in hand strap keeps the cone in place without requiring constant re-adjustment, and the lightweight plastic makes it fatigue-free to use on all four wheels.

• Hand strap secures the shield to your palm for steady application.
• Durable yet lightweight plastic reduces user strain during multiple wheel jobs.
• Flat base and compact shape make it easy to store in a detailing kit or trunk.

Does the material resist cleaners and last through repeated use?

The shield is molded from resilient plastic designed to withstand common tire cleaners and degreasers without cracking or deforming. After use it rinses quickly and dries, ready for the next job, helping the tool remain reliable over many detail cycles.

• Chemical-resistant plastic tolerates typical tire cleaning solutions.
• Simple rinse-and-dry maintenance keeps the shield ready between uses.
• Stable shape prevents warping so fit remains consistent over time.

Who is this for: The Jokari Adjustable Tire Cleaning Shield is ideal for car owners, mobile detailers, and DIY enthusiasts who want faster, cleaner tire care without risking wheel damage. If you regularly use spray-on tire dressings or cleaners and want to skip extra rim scrubbing, this shield saves time and helps preserve wheel finish. It’s especially useful for people who detail multiple vehicles or prefer a neat, professional-looking result at home.
