Kolpin Ratcheting Rhino Grip pair — Black quick-release gear mounts for ATV/UTV/boat, holds 1"–4" shafts, Kwik-Clip base

Kolpin Ratcheting Rhino Grip 21540 is a pair of universal, quick-release mounted grips that secure medium-weight long gear up to 4" in diameter for ATVs, UTVs, boats, and flat surfaces.

These ratcheting Rhino Grips combine a rubberized, cross-pattern contact surface with an indexed ratchet arm and heavy-duty mounting base to keep firearms, fishing rods, bows, shovels and other long items held firmly yet released fast with one hand. Designed for outdoor vehicles and watercraft, the grips accept a wide range of shapes and diameters while offering a compact footprint and up to 15 pounds of carrying strength per pair. The Kwik-Clip base and 4-corner bolting system give flexible installation options on tubular bars, square bars, or drilled flat surfaces.

How do these grips hold different shapes and sizes securely?

The Kolpin grips use a soft cross-pattern rubber contact on an indexed ratcheting arm that adapts to round, oval, and irregular shafts from 1" to 4" diameter. The ratchet lets you tighten gradually until the item is immobilized, and the rubber pattern increases friction without damaging finishes.

• Indexed ratcheting arm locks at multiple positions for tailored clamping.
• Cross-pattern rubber cushions and increases grip for odd shapes.
• Works on items from 1"–4" diameter including bows, poles, and tools.

What mounting options and hardware are included for installation?

The Rhino Grip base accepts tubular or square bars from 5/8" to 2" diameter and can be bolted to flat surfaces after drilling. The Kwik-Clip design lets you rotate the base for a better angle or remove the grips from the base when needed, while the 4-corner bolting pattern delivers a stable attachment point.

• Compatible with 5/8"–2" tubular and square bars for ATV/UTV/boat mounting.
• Drillable flat-base option with 4-corner bolt pattern for secure fastening.
• Kwik-Clip base allows rotation and quick removal without full disassembly.

How quick and easy is it to access or remove stored gear?

Access is designed for speed: a single quick-release button opens the grips immediately, letting you retrieve gear with one hand. The ratcheting mechanism both secures items in transit and releases smoothly so repeated loading and unloading is hassle-free.

• One-handed quick-release button for fast retrieval.
• Smooth ratchet disengagement prevents sudden drops.
• Low-profile design minimizes interference with other mounted accessories.

What kind of weight capacity and environments are these grips suited for?

The set supports medium-weight items with up to 15 lbs of recommended carrying strength, making it ideal for hunting, fishing, trail work and boat decks. Constructed of heavy-duty nylon with inlaid rubber texture, the grips withstand outdoor conditions while protecting your gear from scratches and movement.

• Rated to support up to 15 lbs of medium-weight equipment.
• Heavy-duty nylon construction with inlaid rubber for durability and protection.
• Designed to perform on ATVs, UTVs and boats in outdoor environments.
