Kolpin UTV Overhead In‑Cab Gun & Bow Rack — Black, Telescoping Steel, Foam‑Lined Protection

Kolpin's UTV Overhead In-Cab Gun & Bow Rack (20079) is a steel, foam-lined overhead system that securely stores two firearms or one bow inside your UTV cab for quiet, protected transport.

This compact overhead rack mounts inside the cab to keep firearms and bows out of the way, protected from dings and rattles, and quickly accessible when you need them. Built with ultra-strong telescoping steel tubes and soft, scratch-resistant grips, the unit balances rugged durability with gentle protection for exposed guns, soft cases, or compound bows. It’s designed to fit a variety of cab widths and firearm styles and to stay silent in rough terrain thanks to adjustable rubber straps.

How does this rack keep firearms and bows secure during rough rides?

The rack combines foam-lined grips with rubber straps that prevent movement and marring while absorbing vibration. Telescoping tubes allow snug fitting across different cab widths so the rack won’t shift under load.

• Scratch-resistant foam-lined grips cushion metal and laminated bow finishes
• Rubber straps provide quick, quiet retention and adjustable tension
• Steel telescoping tubes lock in place between 17.5" and 33.5" for a tight fit

Will the rack fit my UTV and my gear?

The adjustable telescoping design covers a broad range of cab sizes, and the grips accept exposed firearms, guns in soft cases, or a single compound bow. It’s engineered for universal fitment rather than vehicle- or model-specific mounting.

• Telescoping length range: 17.5"–33.5" to accommodate most UTV cabins
• Configurable firearm grips allow different orientations and spacing
• Works with two rifles/shotguns or one compound bow

How easy is installation and day-to-day use?

Installation is straightforward: extend the tubes to length, position inside the cab overhead, and secure. Once installed, the rubber straps let you stow and retrieve gear quickly and quietly, minimizing noise that could spook game or distract passengers.

• Tool-free length adjustment with telescoping tubes
• Quick-access rubber strap retention for fast draw or return
• Low-profile overhead placement preserves floor and side storage

How does the rack protect finishes and prevent rattling?

Soft foam lining contacts your gear rather than metal, preventing scratches and finish wear. Rubber straps dampen vibration and eliminate metal-on-metal rattling even over rough trails.

• Scratch-resistant foam wraps the grips for gentle contact
• Rubber straps are adjustable and quiet for stealthy transport
• Steel construction provides strength while foam and rubber protect gear
