If your vehicle's 12V cigarette lighter or power socket is loose, damaged, or no longer delivering steady power, this KPALAG replacement restores a secure electrical connection and factory-like fit. Made with ceramic insulation, PA66 flame-retardant housing and brass contacts, the assembly is built to handle the demands of charging adapters, dash accessories, and portable devices without excessive heat buildup.

Which vehicles will this power outlet fit?

This replacement is designed to match common OEM sizes and mounting points used across several Chrysler, Dodge and Jeep models from late 1990s through the 2010s. Verify fit by comparing your original part numbers or the socket shape and mounting bezel before ordering.

• Dodge Ram 1500/2500/3500 (1999–2008), Grand Caravan (2008–2010), Charger (2006–2010), Avenger (2007–2010), Challenger (2008–2010)

How does the KPALAG socket handle heat and electrical load?

The socket combines an integrated ceramic insulation base with PA66 plastic housing to improve heat dissipation and resist flame. Brass internal contacts reduce resistance and provide consistent conductivity for charging devices and powering small accessories.

• Ceramic insulation for thermal stability and safety
• PA66 flame-retardant plastic housing to limit melting or deformation
• Brass power contacts for low-resistance, stable electrical flow

What comes in the package and how easy is installation?

KPALAG ships the complete socket assembly plus the cigarette lighter mounting ring bezel you need for a clean, secure fit. Installation is a straightforward replacement of the original socket: remove the old unit, disconnect wiring, fit the KPALAG socket and secure the bezel; consult vehicle manual for any model-specific steps.

• Includes 1 x power outlet car lighter socket and 1 x mounting ring bezel
• Direct replacement for listed OEM part numbers—no additional wiring required in most cases
• Simple hand tools required; recommended to disconnect vehicle battery before work

Will this maintain reliable contact for charging and accessories?

Yes — the design focuses on durable electrical contact and proper mechanical mounting to reduce intermittent connection issues. The brass contacts and secure bezel mounting help minimize vibration-related disconnection common in older or worn sockets.

• Stable brass contacts for reduced arcing and better power transfer
• Bezel restores a snug, OEM-style fit to prevent looseness
• Suitable for charging adapters, GPS units, dash cams and other 12V accessories
