LEIMO KPARTS GY6 24mm PD24J Carburetor for 125–150cc Engines — Electronic Choke, Zinc Alloy

LEIMO KPARTS GY6 (150cc) PD24J carburetor is a brand-new 24mm, zinc-alloy carb with an electronic choke designed to restore reliable fueling for GY6 125–150cc 4-stroke scooters, ATVs and go-karts. This carburetor replaces worn or damaged factory units on many popular GY6-type engines (152QMJ, 157QMJ and related variants). Built from zinc alloy with refined surface finishing, the unit aims to resist corrosion from fuel exposure while improving air/fuel mixing for stable idling and acceleration. It includes precise intake and air-filter mount diameters to match common hoses and manifolds on scooters and small engine applications.

Which engines and models will this carburetor fit?

This PD24J carburetor is designed for 4-stroke GY6-style engines in the 125–150cc range and fits many widely used scooter and small-vehicle models. Always verify your engine’s intake diameters and mounting pattern before purchasing to ensure compatibility.

• Compatible with GY6 125cc and 150cc 4-stroke engines, including 152QMJ and 157QMJ families.
• Common fitment: Taotao, Kymco Agility125/150, Baja, SunL, Roketa, Jonway, Znen, Coolster and many Kazuma/Baja-style scooters and ATVs.
• Works for mopeds, scooters, go-karts, UTVs and other small vehicles using PD24J-type carburetors.

What are the precise measurements and physical features?

The LEIMO KPARTS PD24J is measured to match standard intake and filter manifolds, making hose connections and replacements straightforward. Key dimensions are provided so you can compare to your existing carb before ordering.

• Intake side inner diameter: 24mm — matches PD24J throttle bore sizing.
• Intake side outer diameter: 32mm; air filter mount inner diameter: 38mm; outer diameter: 42mm.
• Constructed from zinc alloy with a smooth finish for corrosion resistance and durable service life.

How does the electronic choke and airflow design affect performance?

The built-in electronic choke simplifies cold starts by automatically adjusting fuel enrichment during warm-up, reducing manual choke fiddling. The carb’s improved air intake holes and internal flow design aim for consistent mixtures, which helps steady idle and throttle response when properly tuned.

• Electric choke provides easier cold starts and smoother warm-up behavior.
• Refined intake geometry helps provide a balanced air/fuel ratio under varied loads.
• Designed to restore power and torque characteristics when the OEM carburetor is worn.

Is installation difficult, and what should I check before fitting?

Installation is typically straightforward for anyone familiar with small-engine maintenance, but confirm measurements and hose compatibility first. Basic hand tools are usually sufficient; professional installation is recommended if you’re unsure about carburetor adjustment or manifold matching.

• Verify intake and filter mount diameters to ensure a snug hose fit and correct seal.
• Inspect fuel and vacuum line routing, and check throttle and choke cable lengths before mounting.
• Adjust idle and mixture screws as required after installation for proper running.

Who is this for: This LEIMO KPARTS PD24J 24mm carburetor is aimed at owners and mechanics of GY6-style 125–150cc scooters, ATVs and go-karts who need a durable, corrosion-resistant replacement with an electric choke. It suits riders restoring performance after a clogged or leaking carb, hobbyists building or modifying small vehicles, and repair shops that service a range of common scooter and small-engine models. Please double-check your vehicle’s factory specifications and intake dimensions to confirm compatibility before purchase.
