Leisure Stay Tesla Mobile Connector Adapter for Gen 2/Gen 3 — NEMA 5-20 120V 16A, 10-inch with Thermal Protection

Leisure Stay's Premium Adapter converts a Tesla Mobile Connector Gen 2 or Gen 3 so you can safely plug into a 120V NEMA 5-20 outlet and charge at up to 16 amps.

This compact 10‑inch adapter is made specifically for Tesla Mobile Connector generations 2 and 3, letting drivers use T‑slot (NEMA 5‑20) household and workshop circuits when a matching inlet is available. It is not compatible with Gen 1 connectors made before 2018. Built with corrosion‑resistant contacts, thermal protection, and a durable insulated housing, the adapter gives a reliable, portable way to connect to 120V/20A outlets while observing electrical safety and circuit limits.

How do I know this adapter fits my Tesla Mobile Connector?

This adapter was engineered for Tesla Mobile Connector Gen 2 and Gen 3 only; it will not mate correctly with Gen 1 plugs. Check the connector face and manufacturing date on your Mobile Connector if you are unsure.

• Compatible: Tesla Mobile Connector Gen 2 and Gen 3
• Not compatible: Tesla Mobile Connector Gen 1 (pre‑2018)
• Physical check: confirm the connector shape and pin layout before purchase

What charging performance and safety features can I expect?

The adapter supports charging up to 16 amps at 120 volts, though actual current depends on your outlet, circuit wiring, and vehicle settings. Safety features include thermal protection to reduce or cut power if temperatures climb, plus nickel‑plated contacts to resist corrosion.

• Maximum: 120V at 16A (depending on circuit capacity)
• Thermal protection reduces risk from overheating
• Durable, nickel‑plated contacts for reliable conductivity

Which outlets work with this NEMA 5‑20 adapter and what should I verify?

This version is intended for NEMA 5‑20 (T‑slot) outlets commonly found in garages and some workshops. Before using, confirm your receptacle is a 5‑20 type and that its circuit is rated for the desired continuous load; consult a qualified electrician if unsure.

• Outlet type: NEMA 5‑20 (T‑slot) 120V/20A
• Verify circuit wiring and breaker rating for continuous EV charging
• If uncertain, have a licensed electrician inspect the outlet

What warranty and support come with the adapter?

Leisure Stay includes a one‑year limited warranty and US‑based customer support to help with installation questions, compatibility checks, or warranty claims. Save your purchase receipt and photos of the product and outlet for faster assistance.

• 1‑year limited warranty from Leisure Stay
• US‑based support for compatibility and troubleshooting

Who is this for: The Leisure Stay Premium Adapter is ideal for Tesla Gen 2 or Gen 3 owners who need a portable, safe way to plug their Mobile Connector into NEMA 5‑20 120V outlets—drivers who travel, work from multiple locations, or want an alternative charging option in a garage or shop. It’s not meant for legacy Gen 1 connectors or for bypassing proper electrical capacity; if you plan on frequent high‑power charging, consult an electrician about dedicated EV circuits.
