Leisure Stay Tesla Mobile Connector Adapter — NEMA 6-20 240V, 16A, 10" Compact Adapter for Gen 2/Gen 3

Leisure Stay’s Premium Adapter converts your Tesla Mobile Connector Gen 2 or Gen 3 to plug into a NEMA 6-20 240V outlet for up to 16A charging.

If you own a Tesla Mobile Connector from Gen 2 or Gen 3, this compact 10-inch adapter provides a safe, durable way to connect to common 240V NEMA 6-20 (20A) outlets found in garages and workplaces. It’s built with corrosion-resistant contacts, thermal protection, and a rugged insulated housing so you can rely on consistent charging when a dedicated EV charger isn’t available. This product is not compatible with Tesla Gen 1 mobile connectors manufactured before 2018, so confirm your connector generation before ordering.

How does this adapter work with my Tesla Mobile Connector?

The adapter plugs into your Tesla Mobile Connector end and lets the other end mate with a NEMA 6-20 outlet, providing a 240V connection controlled by the Mobile Connector’s internal electronics. Charging current will follow your vehicle settings and the circuit’s capacity; the adapter is rated to support up to 16A at 240V under normal conditions. It’s a simple, plug-and-play accessory with no rewiring required.

• Fits Tesla Gen 2 & Gen 3 Mobile Connectors only.
• Plugs into standard NEMA 6-20 240V receptacles.
• Supports up to 16A charging depending on circuit and vehicle.
• No special tools—connects directly to the Mobile Connector.

What safety features are built into the adapter?

This adapter was designed with temperature and corrosion controls to reduce risk during regular use. Nickel-plated contacts enhance conductivity and resist oxidation, while thermal protection can limit or stop power flow if the device senses unsafe temperatures. Always follow local electrical codes and ensure the outlet and circuit match the adapter’s rating before charging.

• Nickel-plated contacts for longevity and stable connection.
• Thermal protection reduces power or shuts off at high temperatures.
• Durable insulation to resist wear from repeated use.
• One-year warranty with US-based customer support.

Which outlets and setups are compatible with this adapter?

Use this adapter only with NEMA 6-20 outlets (240V/20A). It is not suitable for NEMA 5-15, NEMA 14-50, or other plug types—verify outlet shape and rating before plugging in. If you’re uncertain about your outlet or home wiring, consult a licensed electrician to confirm compatibility and safe operation.

• Designed for NEMA 6-20 (two horizontal blades plus ground) outlets.
• Rated for 240V circuits; check breaker and wiring capacity first.
• Not compatible with Tesla Gen 1 or non-Tesla chargers.
• Professional electrical inspection recommended if unsure.

How durable is the adapter for everyday use?

Built with a 10-inch length and robust materials, the adapter balances portability with toughness. The reinforced housing and quality contacts are meant to withstand repeated connections and typical garage conditions. The included warranty and US-based support give additional peace of mind if you encounter defects or questions.

• 10-inch end-to-end length for manageable reach and low strain.
• Corrosion-resistant metals and strong insulation extend service life.
• Tested thermal protection to reduce overheating risks.
• 1-year warranty and domestic support for troubleshooting.

Who is this for: Drivers who own a Tesla Mobile Connector Gen 2 or Gen 3 and need a compact, safe way to plug into a NEMA 6-20 240V outlet for reliable charging at up to 16A. It’s ideal for homeowners, renters, or travelers who want a portable, durable adapter rather than installing a dedicated EV charging station. Do not purchase if you have a Gen 1 Mobile Connector or if your available outlet is not a NEMA 6-20 receptacle.
