Linkstyle Wool Polishing Pads 6PCS 7-inch Lambswool Bonnet Kit — Soft Drawstring, Reusable

Linkstyle 6PCS 7-inch lambswool polishing pads are soft, drawstring buffing bonnets designed to deliver smooth, swirl-free finishing on paint, wood, metal and glass surfaces.

Whether you're detailing a car, refinishing furniture, or doing a final polish on metalwork, these 7-inch wool pads offer a balance of plush abrasion and gentle finish. Made from synthetic lambswool, each bonnet fits most 7" backing plates and drill adapters via an adjustable drawstring. They’re washable and reusable, so you can maintain a consistent polishing performance across multiple jobs.

How do these wool pads affect swirl marks and surface finish?

Linkstyle wool pads provide controlled cut and soft finishing that helps reduce visible swirl marks when used with the proper polish and technique. The wool fibers pick up polish and distribute it evenly, working efficiently on oxidized clear coats and dull wooden surfaces without aggressive removal.

• Soft synthetic lambswool for mild cutting and finishing
• Even product distribution to avoid concentrated polishing
• Good for both compounding and finishing steps when matched with appropriate compounds
• Less heat buildup than some foam or wool blends during light passes

Will these 7-inch bonnets fit my polisher or drill?

The built-in drawstring design allows the bonnet to snugly attach to most 7" backing plates and common drill polishing adapters. The elasticized opening pulls tight around the pad to reduce slippage during rotation and on curved panels.

• Designed for 7-inch backing plates and universal drill adapters
• Drawstring secures pad to plate for stable contact
• Flexible fit handles convex and concave surfaces better than rigid pads
• Easy on/off installation for rapid pad changes

How should I clean and maintain the buffing pads to prolong life?

These Linkstyle wool buffing pads are machine- or hand-washable if you remove excess compound and rinse gently right after use. Air-dry in a cool, ventilated location; avoid high heat, which can damage the synthetic fibers and elastic drawstring.

• Rinse with warm water and mild detergent immediately after use
• Squeeze out excess moisture—do not wring aggressively
• Air-dry flat in shade; avoid tumble-dry or direct heat
• Brush fibers lightly to restore loft between uses

Which surfaces and projects are these pads best suited for?

Linkstyle 7" wool bonnets are versatile for automotive detailing, furniture finishing, woodworking, metal polishing, and small DIY projects. They perform well during dust removal, final polishing passes, and light compounding where a combination of cut and softness is needed.

• Automotive: paint correction, glaze application, and final buffing
• Furniture: smoothing sealed wood, lacquer, and varnish finishes
• Metal & glass: removing light oxidation and enhancing shine
• Musical instruments and small crafts for a delicate final polish

If you’re a car detailer, woodworker, hobbyist, or shop professional seeking an affordable, reusable 7" wool polishing solution, this 6-pack from Linkstyle is a practical addition to your toolkit.
