Lisle Oil & Fuel Filter Swivel Wrench 2.375–2.625" Narrow 1/2" Band, Textured Stainless

The Lisle 57010 is a narrow-band, swivel-handled oil and fuel filter wrench that grips 2.375–2.625" filters securely while turning in tight engine spaces.

This compact wrench is engineered for small oil and fuel filters where access is limited. A half-inch-wide stainless steel band with a permanently bonded textured coating increases bite and resists slip, while a swiveling handle and adjustable tension let you apply steady torque in cramped locations. The tool’s form and finish are aimed at professional mechanics and home DIYers who need reliable, repeatable filter removal without damaging the filter housing.

How does the narrow 1/2" band help in tight engine bays?

The half-inch band is intentionally slim to fit into confined clearances that wider strap wrenches cannot reach. Its stainless construction provides strength in a compact profile, so you can reach filters tucked behind brackets or hoses.

• Fits small-diameter filters 2.375–2.625" (60.3–66.7 mm).
• Half-inch width slips into narrow gaps between engine components.
• Stainless steel band resists bending under load.

Will the textured coating really prevent slipping?

Yes — the band is finished with a permanently bonded textured coating that creates multiple gripping points. This increases surface contact and reduces cam-out, even on oily or dirty filter surfaces.

• Permanently bonded coating won't peel under regular use.
• Multiple micro-grip points improve hold on metal or canister filters.
• Designed to maintain traction with oily hands or surfaces.

How does the swivel handle and tension adjustment improve usability?

The handle rotates past 180 degrees so you can position leverage where space allows, then lock the desired tension with an adjusting nut. That prevents a floppy or over-tight swivel, giving controlled turning force during removal or installation.

• Handle swivels beyond 180° for flexible positioning.
• Tension adjusting nut lets you dial in firm or freer rotation.
• Special tab keeps the band aligned with the handle during use.

Is this wrench durable enough for regular shop use?

The Lisle 57010 combines a stainless steel band and a robust handle design for reliable service life. Precision bonding of the textured finish and a patented swivel mechanism improve longevity and consistent performance in recurring maintenance tasks.

• Stainless band resists corrosion and bending.
• Coating process adds long-lasting grip points for repeated use.
• Patent-protected design (Patent 8,573,094) for the swivel mechanism.

Who is this for: The Lisle 57010 is ideal for mechanics, fleet technicians, and home enthusiasts who frequently work in tight engine compartments or on compact equipment with small oil or fuel filters. If you need a compact, high-grip wrench that won’t slip on oily filters and lets you control swivel tension in confined spaces, this tool was built for that job.
