Loctite Anti-Seize Compound metal-free 20g stick, Black — lubricant paste for threaded fasteners & high-temp protection

This compact 20 g stick delivers a metal-free formulation designed to lubricate a wide range of metals without introducing solid metal particles. It combines excellent lubricity with chemical stability, making it suitable for assembly and maintenance tasks where preventing corrosion, cold welding, or thread damage is important. The stick format lets you apply an even coating with minimal mess and precise control.

What situations is this anti-seize stick best for?

Use this stick when you need reliable separation between metal surfaces subject to heat, pressure or long-term exposure. It is ideal for threaded fasteners, flanges, valve stems and other fitted parts where galling or seizure could occur.

• Threaded bolts and studs to prevent galling during torqueing
• Pipe and flange connections exposed to heat and chemicals
• Valve stems, splines and press-fit parts to ease future removal
• Where metal contamination must be avoided—metal-free formulation

How do I apply the Loctite anti-seize stick for best results?

Application is straightforward: clean the mating surfaces, then rub the stick over threads or surfaces to leave a thin, even layer. The solid stick form reduces dripping and waste compared with tubs or tubes, letting you coat exactly where required.

• Wipe surfaces clean of dirt, rust and old sealant before applying
• Rotate the fastener while drawing the stick across threads for even coverage
• Use sparingly—thin coat is usually sufficient to prevent galling
• Reapply as part of scheduled maintenance or when servicing components

What performance can I expect from a metal-free anti-seize?

Expect strong lubricity and reliable separation without embedding metal particles that could contaminate systems. The metal-free chemistry is selected to protect stainless steels and other sensitive alloys from galvanic or abrasive damage that can occur with metallic anti-seize products.

• Excellent lubricity to reduce torque and friction during assembly
• Compatible with a wide range of metals and alloys
• Reduces risk of cold welding and thread damage under load
• Compact stick format for precise, low-waste application

Who is this product for? Technicians, mechanics, plumbers and maintenance professionals who want a clean, controlled anti-seize option that avoids metal fillers will appreciate this Loctite 20 g stick. It suits workshop and field use where ease of application, material compatibility and long-term serviceability are priorities. If you need a compact lubricant that prevents seizure, eases torqueing and helps ensure parts can be serviced later, this metal-free Loctite anti-seize stick is a practical addition to your toolkit.
