Lumitronics RV 12-inch LED Porch Light — Clear Lens, Black; Weather-Resistant 12V Low-Draw

The Lumitronics RV 12" LED Scare Porch Light is a weather-resistant, low-draw 12V LED exterior fixture that delivers a bright, even 124.6-lumen glow for RV entryways, awnings, and work areas.

This compact, durable porch light is built specifically for mobile living — campers, travel trailers, fifth wheels, and motorhomes. With a clear molded lens and a corrosion-resistant black base, the fixture maximizes light output while minimizing power draw, so you get useful illumination without taxing your battery. It installs with common hand tools into standard 12V RV wiring and includes mounting screws for quick replacement or upgrade.

How bright is this Lumitronics porch light for typical RV use?

The Lumitronics 12" LED Scare Porch Light is rated at 124.6 lumens, providing a clear, evenly distributed glow suitable for illuminating an RV doorway, steps, or a small awning area. The clear lens is designed to transmit virtually all the light the LEDs produce, rather than diffusing it away.

• Rated output: 124.6 lumens for effective entryway lighting
• Clear molded lens for maximum light transmission
• 12-inch diameter gives broad coverage for steps and landing areas
• Even LED distribution prevents hot spots and glare

Is the luminaire durable enough for outdoor RV conditions?

This porch light is constructed with an all-weather clear lens and a corrosion-resistant black base plate to withstand exposure on the road and at campsites. The design resists rust and moisture to maintain performance through changing conditions.

• Weather-resistant exterior materials for long-term outdoor use
• Molded clear lens resists cracking and UV degradation
• Durable black base plate resists corrosion from road salt and humidity
• Sealed design reduces ingress of dust and moisture

How simple is installation and what electrical requirements are there?

Installation is straightforward for typical RV wiring: the unit wires into a standard 12V system and mounts with the included screws using basic hand tools. The LED array is low-draw, which helps preserve battery capacity during shore-power interruptions or when running lights from house batteries.

• Runs on 12V DC common in RV systems
• Mounts in minutes using included screws and basic tools
• Low current draw conserves battery life while providing steady illumination
• Straightforward replacement for many common RV porch light openings

What practical benefits can I expect day-to-day?

Expect consistent, energy-efficient illumination for late-night entries, campsite tasks, or areas around an awning. The clear lens and wide spread reduce the need for multiple fixtures, and the long-life LEDs cut maintenance and bulb changes over many seasons.

• Immediate bright light for safer entry and egress at night
• Energy efficiency that lowers drain on RV batteries
• Long-life LEDs reduce replacements and upkeep
• Clean modern appearance that complements RV exteriors

The Lumitronics RV 12" LED Scare Porch Light is ideal for RV owners, full-time travelers, and weekend campers who want a reliable, low-maintenance exterior light that installs quickly and performs dependably in outdoor conditions. It suits anyone replacing a dated porch fixture or upgrading to LED to improve illumination while conserving battery power.
