Lyrivan RV Door Window Shade Cover 16×25 Inch - Blackout Privacy Panel, Reflective Insulation

Lyrivan's 16×25-inch RV Door Window Shade Cover is a blackout privacy panel that blocks light and reflects heat while installing easily without tools. This insulated window cover combines a high-density inner layer for near-total blackout with a reflective outer face to reduce solar heat gain. It’s built for RV doors and camper windows where quick setup, clean removal, and improved comfort are priorities. The panel fastens using residue-free hook-and-loop strips so you can add or remove it in minutes and keep your door and trim intact.

How much light does this shade actually block?

The shade’s dense inner layer is engineered to stop most visible light, creating a darker interior for rest or privacy. It’s useful for daytime naps, sleeping in bright campgrounds, or reducing glare on screens.

• High-density interior layer reduces incoming light significantly, approaching near-total blackout.
• Edges fit snugly against glass to limit light leaks around the frame.
• Suitable for drivers or passengers who need darker sleeping conditions in the day.

Will it help keep the RV cooler in summer?

The exterior side uses a reflective silver surface that bounces sunlight and some UV rays away from the door area, lowering heat buildup near the window. While not a replacement for full climate control, it helps reduce hot spots and eases the load on cooling systems.

• Reflective outer layer directs solar energy outward, reducing interior heat gain.
• Insulating sandwich construction slows heat transfer through the door glass.
• Handy for parked rigs in bright, sunny conditions or campgrounds with limited shade.

How is it installed and will it harm my RV door?

Installation uses adhesive-backed hook-and-loop strips that hold the panel in place without drilling or permanent fixtures. The strips are designed to remove cleanly so paint and trim remain undamaged when you take the cover down.

• Peel-and-stick hook-and-loop strips for tool-free, fast setup.
• No drilling or hardware required, preserving door integrity.
• Removes without sticky residue when used per instructions.

What size windows and RVs is this meant for?

This model is a 16×25 inch panel intended for many RV door windows and camper layouts. Because door window dimensions vary by make and model, measure your opening to confirm fit before purchase.

• Panel measures 16×25 inches to suit common RV door window openings.
• Works with many campers, travel trailers, and motorhomes—verify measurements for best fit.
• Flexible design accommodates slight variations in frame size and shape.

Who is this for? If you camp in variable light conditions and want a fast, non-permanent way to darken your RV interior and cut solar heat at the door, this Lyrivan shade is designed for you. It’s a practical pick for weekend campers, long-term travelers, and anyone who wants privacy without altering their vehicle. Built from reflective and insulating layers with easy, residue-free attachment, it’s especially helpful for RVers who value convenience, interior comfort, and protection of their door trim while on the road.
