Mega Racer Thin License Plate Frames — 2 Pack Carbon-Fiber Design, Weatherproof ABS Slim Profile

These are two ultra-thin, weatherproof license plate frames with a carbon-fiber pattern—made from rust-free ABS plastic and supplied with hardware and screw caps for a clean, secure fit on standard U.S. and Canadian plates.

Upgrade your vehicle’s look without bulk: the Mega Racer Weatherproof Thin License Plate Frames (2 Pack) deliver a slim-profile, glossy carbon-fiber finish that fits most 12.3" x 6.4" plates while protecting against rust, fading, and noise. Built for everyday driving and automatic car washes, the frames include universal screws, foam pads, rear clips, and matching carbon-pattern screw caps so you can install them in minutes and enjoy a polished, factory-style appearance.

How durable are these frames in sun, rain, and winter conditions?

The frames are molded from high-quality ABS plastic with a UV-resistant glossy carbon-fiber pattern, so they resist fading, cracking, and peeling from sun exposure and seasonal weather. Because they’re plastic, there’s no metal to corrode or rust around your plate or vehicle paint.

• UV-resistant finish prevents color loss and dulling
• Weatherproof design stands up to rain, snow, and car washes
• ABS construction avoids rust and corrosion over time
• Rounded edges reduce risk of scratching vehicle paint

Will these frames fit my license plate and avoid covering registration tags?

Yes—each frame measures to fit the common 12.3" x 6.4" U.S. and Canadian plate dimensions so state names, plate numbers, and sticker areas remain visible in most jurisdictions. Street laws differ by state, so confirm local regulations before installing to ensure full compliance.

• Top slim-edge, two-hole design for standard plates
• Designed to leave registration stickers and state text unobstructed
• Universal sizing fits front and rear locations in most vehicles
• Includes multiple screw sizes for varied mounting holes

How secure and noise-free is the mounting on rough roads?

The set includes foam pads and rear clips that absorb vibration and prevent rattling; the thin frame profile and snug hardware help keep the plate firmly in place. This combination reduces plate movement and the associated noise common with loose frames.

• Foam pads cushion plate and stop vibration
• Rear clips add stability at the mounting points
• Matching screw caps lock in for a finished look and secure hold
• Engineered fit to minimize shaking on uneven surfaces

Is installation difficult and what’s included in the kit?

Installation is straightforward and tool-light: remove any old frame, align holes, insert the supplied screws and washers, tighten, then snap on the decorative screw caps. The kit contains multiple screw lengths and accessories so you won’t need specialty parts for most cars and trucks.

• Comes with four screw sizes, plastic washers, foam pads, and rear clips
• Includes carbon-pattern screw caps for a cohesive finish
• Simple 4-step installation—no special tools required
• Quick DIY fit for sedans, trucks, SUVs, and EVs

Who is this for: The Mega Racer carbon-fiber license plate frames suit drivers who want a slim, modern upgrade without the drawbacks of metal frames—ideal for owners of cars, trucks, SUVs, and EVs who value a premium look, weatherproof performance, and a quiet, secure mount. They’re also a practical gift for enthusiasts and anyone looking to refresh their vehicle’s exterior quickly and affordably.
