Meguiar's M50 Marine/RV One-Step Cleaner Wax 16oz — Non-Abrasive Gelcoat Cleaner & Protectant

Meguiar's M50 Marine/RV One-Step Cleaner Wax is a non-abrasive liquid that cleans, polishes and protects fiberglass gel coat on boats and RVs in a single, easy application.

Designed for owners who want to restore gloss and defend gel coat without multiple products, this 16-ounce formula removes light oxidation, haze, fine scratches and swirl marks while leaving a durable protective layer against sun, salt air and corrosion. The all-in-one liquid works by hand or with machine polishers, delivering a balanced blend of cleaners and polishing oils that refresh color and add shine to fiberglass surfaces on marine and recreational vehicles.

How does M50 remove light oxidation and surface haze?

M50 uses a non-abrasive cleaner-polish blend that lifts and suspends light oxidation and haze, enabling the polishing oils to reveal deeper color and gloss. It doesn't rely on aggressive cutting compounds, so it’s safe for most gel coat finishes when used as directed.

• Non-abrasive chemistry removes thin oxidation without aggressive buffing
• Polishing oils restore gloss and improve water beading
• Works by hand or with dual-action and rotary polishers

Can I use it with a polisher and what results should I expect?

Yes—M50 is formulated for flexible use: apply by hand, DA polisher, or rotary buffer. Expect reduced swirling and improved clarity after a single pass, with color restoration and a protective finish that lasts longer than a rinse-and-wipe product.

• Safe on fiberglass gel coat and compatible with machine polishing pads
• Produces visible gloss and reduced minor imperfections in one step
• Simplifies maintenance compared to separate cleaner, polish, and wax steps

What protection does the product provide against weather and salt?

M50 leaves a protective layer that helps shield gel coat from ultraviolet exposure, salt air, and mild corrosion factors common in marine environments. While not a permanent coating, it enhances resistance to fading and surface degradation between more intensive detailing sessions.

• Protects against UV-related dulling for improved longevity
• Helps prevent salt buildup and reduces corrosion risk on treated surfaces
• Suitable as routine protection between seasonal or deep-detail treatments

How do I apply Meguiar's M50 for best results?

Apply sparingly to a cool, clean surface out of direct sun. Work a small area at a time using a foam applicator or pad, buff with a microfiber towel or appropriate polishing pad, and inspect the finish before moving on.

• Shake bottle and apply a few drops onto applicator or pad
• Spread evenly, work section-by-section, then buff residue with a microfiber towel
• Use light pressure with a DA polisher or controlled strokes with a rotary buffer
