MXJ Gear Youth Dirt Bike Helmet F001 (L) DOT Approved Full-Face with Removable Visor & Washable Pads

MXJ Gear's Youth Dirt Bike Helmet F001 is a DOT-approved full-face motocross helmet designed to protect young riders while giving adjustable ventilation, a removable sun visor, and a complete accessory set for off-road and trail use.

This full-face MXJ Gear helmet combines a tough ABS outer shell with a high-density inner liner to meet DOT FMVSS-218 standards, while delivering child-friendly sizing and removable, easy-to-clean padding. The F001 comes with a helmet bag, goggles, and gloves, making it a ready-to-ride package for kids who want protection and style on dirt bikes, ATVs, UTVs, BMXs, or electric off-road bicycles.

How does this helmet meet safety expectations for youth riders?

The MXJ Gear F001 is engineered around DOT FMVSS-218 compliance, meaning the shell, liner, and retention system are built to perform under standard impact tests. It uses a high-quality ABS shell and dense foam interior for energy absorption and has a quick-release adjustable chin strap to secure the fit.

• DOT FMVSS-218 compliant construction for regulatory-level protection.
• Durable ABS outer shell resists impact and abrasion.
• High-density form liner for shock management and fit stability.
• Quick-release chin strap for secure fastening and fast removal.

Which size should I pick for my child and how should it fit?

MXJ Gear offers the F001 in four youth sizes: S (49–50 cm), M (51–52 cm), L (53–54 cm), and XL (55–56 cm). Measure head circumference at the widest point above the eyebrows; the helmet should sit snugly without pressure points and may feel slightly tight at first but will conform with short wear.

• Measure head with a soft tape at the forehead’s widest part for accurate sizing.
• If between sizes, choose the larger for room with cheek pads and liners.
• Proper fit: snug around the crown, no excessive movement when turning head.
• Removable liners allow small adjustments and easy cleaning after use.

What comfort and ventilation features does the F001 offer?

The F001 balances protection with breathability through multiple vents and washable cheek pads that manage sweat and airflow. The interior uses soft, breathable padding that you can remove and launder, and the adjustable sun visor reduces glare on bright trails.

• Multiple strategically placed vents for ongoing air circulation.
• Removable and washable cheek pads to keep the interior fresh.
• Adjustable, removable sun visor for glare control and visibility.
• Soft interior lining for extended comfort during rides.

What comes in the box, and how is this helmet suitable as a gift?

The F001 ships as a complete set: helmet, helmet bag for storage, one-size goggles, and one-size gloves. Its bright, youth-focused graphics and practical accessories make it an appealing present for birthdays, holidays, or as starter gear for young off-road riders.

• Included: 1 helmet, 1 helmet bag, 1 pair gloves, 1 pair goggles.
• Goggles sized to fit youth helmets and provide eye protection from debris.
• Helmet bag protects finish and makes transport easier.
• Multiple graphic options suit different tastes and riding styles.
