MXJ Gear Youth Dirt Bike Helmet F001 — Size M DOT-Approved Full‑Face Kit with Goggles

MXJ Gear F001 is a DOT-approved full-face youth motocross helmet kit that combines a durable ABS shell, removable comfort lining, and a built-in adjustable visor to protect and cool young riders on dirt bikes, ATVs, and off-road electric bikes.

This youth-sized MXJ Gear F001 helmet package arrives as a ready-to-ride set: helmet, goggles, gloves, and a protective carry bag. Designed to meet DOT FMVSS-218 safety standards, the helmet pairs a high-density EPS liner with an impact-resistant ABS outer shell and multiple vents to balance protection, breathability, and comfort for children learning off-road riding or commuting on small motorbikes.

How does this helmet meet safety expectations for kids?

The F001 is built to DOT FMVSS-218 compliance, meaning the construction and materials pass federally recognized tests for impact and retention. Its layered safety design reduces transmitted energy in a crash while the quick-release chin strap helps secure the helmet reliably in active riding situations.

• DOT FMVSS-218 certified construction
• Durable ABS outer shell with high-density impact foam
• Adjustable quick-release chin strap for secure fit
• Removable cheek pads and liner to maintain shape after cleaning

Which size should I choose for my child and how should it fit?

MXJ Gear provides four youth sizes (S, M, L, XL) measured by head circumference so you can match the helmet to your child’s measurements. A new helmet may feel snug at first but the interior padding adapts with regular wear; it should fit snugly without causing pain and not rock when the head moves.

• S: 49–50 cm (19.3–19.7 in)
• M: 51–52 cm (20.1–20.47 in) — this product size
• L: 53–54 cm (20.87–21.26 in)
• XL: 55–56 cm (21.65–22.05 in) and guidance on trying before rides

What comfort and convenience features help during a long ride?

Ventilation, removable liners, and an adjustable sun visor are combined to keep young riders cool and comfortable. The cheek pads and full lining come out for washing, while strategically placed vents encourage airflow across the head during active riding.

• Multiple vents for improved airflow
• Fully removable, washable liner and cheek pads
• Adjustable, removable sun visor for glare control
• Includes goggles, gloves, and helmet bag for complete convenience

Is this helmet a good gift for young riders?

The F001 arrives in vibrant, kid-friendly patterns and includes accessories, making it a practical and exciting present for birthdays or holidays. The kit-style presentation removes the need to source separate gloves or goggles, so a child can get on the trail sooner.

• Attractive, youthful graphics that appeal to children
• Complete set: helmet, goggles, gloves, and carrying bag
• Durable materials suited for regular off-road use
• Removable parts simplify cleaning after muddy rides

Who is this for? MXJ Gear’s F001 full-face youth helmet is aimed at young riders who need DOT-certified protection for dirt bikes, ATVs, UTVs, BMX, or ebikes and for parents who want a ready-to-use safety package. It’s ideal for kids learning to ride and families seeking a balance of safety, comfort, and easy maintenance without buying multiple accessories separately.
