Obeaming RV LED Strip Light 16.4 ft 4000K — 12V Dimmable, CRI 90+, 600 LEDs Slim 5/16" Tape

Obeaming's 16.4 ft flexible LED strip is a high‑CRI, 12V dimmable tape light built for RVs, camper vans, trailers and other indoor mobile spaces that need bright, natural 4000K illumination.

This slim, 5/16” wide LED tape packs 600 efficient 2835 chips across 16.4 feet to deliver up to 2000 lumens of steady light while preserving accurate color with CRI 90+. Designed for indoor use in vehicles and tiny homes, the strip is cuttable and sticks down with strong 3M adhesive so you can shape and place continuous, even lighting where overhead fixtures won’t reach. The light runs on a standard 12V DC system and can be paired with a compatible DC dimmer (sold separately) to tune brightness for tasks, ambience, or energy conservation.

How bright is this LED strip and will it light my whole RV?

The strip produces up to about 2000 lumens total, bright enough for common interior tasks, accent lines, and under‑cabinet lighting in small to medium recreational vehicles. Because the LEDs are distributed densely along 16.4 feet, they create an even wash rather than concentrated hotspots.

• 600 x 2835 LED chips across the full 16.4 ft length
• Approximate output: 2000 lumens (total)
• Light temperature: neutral 4000K for balanced white
• Best for corridor, cabinet, under-bed, and overhead accent lighting

Can I dim the lights and control color accuracy?

Yes — the strip is dimmable on 12V DC systems using a compatible in‑line dimmer (not included). Color fidelity is strong thanks to LEDs rated CRI 90+, so fabrics, surfaces and finishes appear closer to their true tones compared with lower‑CRI strips.

• Dimmable with an external 12V DC dimmer (purchase separately)
• CRI 90+ delivers accurate, comfortable lighting for interiors
• 4000K neutral white reduces blue or yellow bias
• Works well for both task lighting and general ambience

How easy is installation and can I customize the length?

Installation is straightforward: trim the strip at marked cut points, peel the 3M backing and press onto a clean, smooth surface. The narrow 5/16" profile fits tight spaces and the flexible substrate conforms to gentle curves, making it practical for cabinetry, trim and overhead coves.

• Cuttable at manufacturer-marked intervals to fit your layout
• Peel-and-stick 3M adhesive for quick mounting on clean surfaces
• Flexible tape accommodates gentle bends and contours
• Indoor-only rating — not sealed for exterior or wet locations

What electrical and safety points should I know?

The strip is made for 12V DC systems common in RVs, camper vans and marine interiors; do not connect directly to mains power without a proper 12V supply. For reliable dimming and extended lifespan, use a compatible dimmer and ensure your power source can supply adequate current for the full strip.

• Runs on 12V DC — compatible with most vehicle electrical setups
• Indoor use only; not rated IP65 or higher for moisture exposure
• Use a dedicated 12V dimmer controller for dimming functions
• Confirm fuse protection and wire sizing when installing in vehicles

Who is this for: The Obeaming 16.4 ft LED strip suits RV owners, vanlifers, small‑space renovators and DIYers who want a slim, bright, natural‑white lighting solution that’s easy to cut and mount. It’s ideal when you need continuous, high‑CRI illumination for cabinets, counters, closets, under‑bed areas and accent lines where compact, low‑voltage lighting is preferred.
