Performance Tool 2-in-1 Oil Drain Pan and Hexagon Tool Caddy, 8L Reservoir with Locking Casters

The Performance Tool W4074 is a combined 8-liter oil drain pan and hexagon mobile tool caddy that works together or separately to simplify oil changes and keep essential tools organized while you work.

Whether you're changing oil in a home garage or performing routine service in a small shop, this two-in-one solution replaces juggling a separate drain pan and a rolling tool organizer. Built from high-impact polypropylene, the unit is lightweight yet durable, and its 3 locking swivel casters keep both pan and caddy stable to reduce the chance of spills and misplaced tools. The drain pan includes a molded splash guard and an oil filter drain post so used oil and filter fluid are directed safely into the reservoir.

How does the W4074 make oil changes easier?

The 8-liter pan collects drained oil and includes a raised oil filter drain post to help empty filter fluid with less mess. The molded splash guard reduces splashing when fluids are poured or when the vehicle is jacked. Together these features speed clean-up and reduce accidental spills during routine service.

• 8-liter reservoir holds common passenger vehicle oil volumes
• integrated splash guard minimizes oil spray
• oil filter drain post lets filters drain into the pan
• lightweight polypropylene simplifies handling and pouring

Can the drain pan and caddy be used independently?

Yes — the pan and hexagon-shaped caddy separate so you can use the drain pan under the vehicle while the caddy rolls beside you with hand tools. The two pieces stack for compact storage when not in use, or they can function as distinct work aids depending on the job.

• separable design for flexible workspace setups
• stackable for compact storage in a toolbox or shelf
• caddy holds sockets, wrenches, and small parts while pan remains under vehicle

How stable is it while I move around the car?

The W4074 rides on three 2-inch locking swivel casters that provide mobility and secure positioning. Lock the casters to keep the caddy and pan stationary while you lean or work around the vehicle, preventing roll-away and lowering spill risk.

• three 2-inch swivel casters for smooth rolling action
• locking mechanism secures unit in place during use
• low-profile base lowers tip-over risk when shelves are loaded

Is this product durable and sized for everyday workshop use?

Constructed from high-impact polypropylene, the unit resists common garage impacts, chemicals, and stains while remaining easy to lift. The hexagon caddy measures about 18.5 inches wide by 5.375 inches tall — roomy enough for essential tools without taking up too much floor space.

• high-impact polypropylene resists dents and corrosion
• hexagon caddy fits standard hand tools and small parts
• moderate footprint suitable for busy bays or home garages

Who is this for: The Performance Tool W4074 suits DIY enthusiasts, hobbyists, and small-shop technicians who want a compact, mobile solution for oil changes and hands-on repairs.
