Plasti Dip Original liquid rubber dip can — Yellow 14.5 fl oz, peelable non-slip protective coating for tools & DIY

Plasti Dip Original Dip Can in Yellow is a peelable, air-dry rubber coating that creates a flexible, non-slip protective layer for tools, hardware, and small DIY projects.

Plasti Dip’s 14.5 fl oz dip can format gives you the original liquid rubber formula in a convenient size for dipping handles, hooks, and other small items. It dries to a bright yellow, slightly textured finish that improves grip, adds visual customization, and shields surfaces from moisture, abrasion, and corrosion. The coating remains flexible across a wide temperature range and can be removed cleanly when you want to change colors or restore the original surface.

How do I use the dip can to coat handles and small parts?

Preparation is simple: clean grease and dirt off the part, suspend it so all sides can be dipped evenly, and lower it into the Plasti Dip until the desired thickness is achieved. Allow each coat to dry before additional dips to avoid runs; multiple thin layers build a smoother, more durable finish than one heavy dip.

• Clean surface with degreaser or alcohol.
• Hang or suspend item for full coverage.
• Dip, hang to dry 15–30 minutes, repeat for 2–4 coats.
• Trim or peel edges after full cure for a neat finish.

What kind of protection and performance can I expect?

Once cured, the Plasti Dip rubber layer resists abrasion, moisture, and many household chemicals while maintaining flexibility to reduce cracking. It improves handling by creating a tacky, non-slip surface and helps prevent scratches and corrosion on the underlying material.

• Flexible protection from -30°F to 200°F temperature range.
• Peelable when you want to remove or replace the coating.
• Improves grip and cushions impact on tool handles and hardware.
• Protects against moisture, abrasion, and light chemical exposure.

Which surfaces and projects are best suited to Plasti Dip?

Plasti Dip is designed for a wide variety of dippable objects: metal tool handles, garden tools, hooks, fasteners, and small fixtures are ideal candidates. It also works well for craft projects and temporary color or texture changes on items that can be submerged or coated.

• Metal, wood, and many plastics (test for compatibility first).
• Tool handles, hand tools, garden implements, and hardware hooks.
• Small automotive parts and custom color accents.
• Crafts, prototypes, and temporary surface treatments.

How do I remove or replace the Plasti Dip coating?

One of Plasti Dip’s advantages is its peelability: when you’re ready for a change, lift an edge and pull the rubber layer away. For stubborn spots, use a plastic scraper or soak with warm soapy water to help release the coating without harming the original surface.

• Start at a corner and peel steadily for best results.
• Use warm water or mild detergent for easier removal.
• A plastic scraper can assist without scratching the base material.
• Recoat as desired with a fresh dip for a new color or texture.

Who is this for? Plasti Dip Original Dip Can in Yellow is aimed at DIYers, hobbyists, and professionals who want an easy-to-apply, removable rubber coating for improving grip, protecting small parts, or adding a bright color accent.
