Pukonger Tailgate Letters 3D Insert Emblems Matte Black for 2016–2023 with Strong 3M Adhesive, Flush-Fit Durable ABS

Pukonger Tailgate Insert Letters are precision-fit 3D matte-black ABS emblems designed to replace the factory letters on 2016–2023 truck tailgates, attaching securely with high-bond 3M adhesive for a clean, durable finish.

These replacement insert letters are molded from weather-resistant ABS and shaped to match the exact grooves of 2016–2023 tailgates, so they sit flush and give your truck a refreshed, custom look without drilling or paintwork. Each character is pre-backed with strong 3M adhesive to withstand rain, car washes and everyday wear while offering simple, fast installation that takes only a few minutes with basic prep.

Will these letters fit my truck’s tailgate accurately?

Yes — the letters are custom-sized for tailgates manufactured from 2016 through 2023 and are not compatible with other model years. They are formed to nest into the existing recesses so the edges remain flush with the surrounding surface for a factory-style appearance.

• Tailgate compatibility: 2016–2023 only
• Designed for the factory letter recesses
• Flush 3D profile that replaces thin decal look
• Matte black finish for a subtle, modern aesthetic

How durable are the Pukonger emblems in different weather conditions?

Made from high-quality ABS plastic, these inserts resist abrasion, chemical exposure and UV fading better than thinner decal options. The material maintains shape and color through typical outdoor conditions, including sun exposure, rain and routine washing.

• ABS construction for impact and weather resistance
• Chemical-resistant surface guards against cleaners and road salts
• Matte finish resists visible fading and gloss loss
• 3M adhesive preserves bond through washes and wet weather

How simple is installation, and what tools or prep are needed?

Installation is intentionally fast and tool-light: clean the tailgate groove, dry thoroughly, remove the adhesive liner and press each letter into place. For best adhesion, use an alcohol wipe to remove grease and a heat gun or hairdryer to warm the surface before applying pressure.

• Cleaning: alcohol cloth or degreaser recommended
• Drying: heat gun or hairdryer to help bond the adhesive
• Application time: typically 2–5 minutes for the full set
• No drilling or permanent modification required

What practical differences will 3D raised letters make compared to decals?

Unlike flat stickers, raised emblems create depth and shadow that catch the eye and give the tailgate a more refined, built-in appearance. The thicker profile is more resistant to peeling and scuffing and conveys a higher-quality finish that persists over time.

• Three-dimensional profile provides visual depth
• Greater resistance to peeling than thin decals
• Robust ABS reduces scratching and deformation
• Matte black keeps a subdued, professional look
